Cracking deals to cracking destinations!

Just been given the heads up on the Virgin Atlantic Easter Sale. Some great prices on return flights. Hit the link for travel dates and even more destinations! Most departures from London, but a few from Manchester at the bottom of the deal page. Prices go live at midnight <3

I've always paid around £450 for return flights to Orlando. Sale seems odd :/

Usual prices for this time of year

Looked at the LA flights, from in their sales really is stretching it. Cheapest I could get in their date ranges was nearly double their from price.

Usually find It cheaper to book flights through online agents rather than directly with airlines (unless budget carrier)

Yeah same dates, paid £422pp last time we went. Usually always go with virgin as long as it's below £500

Virgin price match... book through Virgin and show them the cheaper fare via the Price Match form before midnight of the booking

That's so annoying. The third time i've heard of misleading advertising from Virgin. I'm not booking with em now out of Principle

Voting hot because not United Airlines, should get there in one piece.

I paid £385 for Orlando return Virgin flights departing 7th November when I booked in Jan. Very misleading from Virgin!

Crazy cheap for virgin. Did you use miles with that?

Not really, flights change price a ridiculous amount.

In any event though, these prices are nothing special. As others said, go through an agency. Picked a few NY dates at random and found them all £50 less through reputable agents. And £350 is about right for the time of year.

What agents do you mean? I always thought it would be cheaper directly?

Expensive! I paid £680 for 5 nights in NY in February which included transfers from airport with hotel 5 mins from Central Park and 10 mins from Times Square.

Just whatever travel agent of the day happens to be giving the best price.

Rarely do I see direct being cheapest when I've used flight comparison sites. Only the budget airlines are cheapest direct.

Has anyone ever used netflights.com, they have the same Virgin flight 44 pounds cheaper per person.
