Still too much when you can pay third and go in cattle class! I'm going to Dominican Republic for a week in a 5star hotel all inclusive for half the price of these flights!

Going to the Dominican republic all inclusive is not the same as flying upper class with Virgin, if you dont get caught in a tropical storm the food poisoning will finish you off! have a nice trip!

Absolutely no comparison to economy. I've traveled Virgin Upper class many times and the prices hear are well worth it!!!

It all depends on what you are after. To give people an idea of pricing you can pay 5K plus for upper class to LA.

I don't get understand '1st class'. Spending that amount of money on a 9 hour flight doesn't seem logical. Why not fly business and then spend a couple of weeks in a top star hotel instead.

Obviously there's demand, but I think it's just throwing away money

you pay more than twice this to go Club World on BA and thats ****! - Upper Class wipes the floor with Club World and even First class on BA and I've been fortunate enough to experience them all..

£30 quidco per seat too...

We were lucky to get upgraded (thru my bro in law) on a return trip to SA. It was absolutely fantastic. If ianyone is thinking about this - just do it, it'll be something you'll remember forever.

Virgin Upper Class is more like BA Business Class. In BA First Class you get Pyjamas, a duvet and your bed made up for you. It is very nice! I have flown it lots but always using frequent flyer miles.
