Does anyone know why you cant buy blue campsite tickets on the presale? When i finally got onto the website all the red campsite tickets had sold out and there was only yellow left.
Is it true that the yellow campsite is unofficial?

Each time i have been the yellow campsite is just further away than the red, to be honest i've never had the chance to reserve a campsite it's is just first come first served.

The year before last it took us over 12 hours to get into Weston park from Leicester so needless to say we ended up carrying our stuff about 3 miles at 1am from the car park to the campsite on the other side of the park. Once you've got a spot though its not really a problem where you are because all campsites are all pretty close to the arena, well at the Weston park one at least.

Hope this helps.

My son wanted these tickets for his 18th birthday- which after a LOT of messing about on the website, I managed to get em! After having read these threads- how do you know which campsite you have been allocated? I booked the weekend with camping but cant see anywhere on the confimation which camp site he has been allocated. Any ideas?

Tickets and camping sold out already? Does that mean when these go on general release there already won't be any?

No these are a limited amount of exclusive tickets for Virgin customers, come Friday there will be LOTS more.

As for camping, in Hylands you could choose yellow or red at the checkout. Red generally refers to the entire red and blue site unless they have changed it this year. Red and blu sites are joined and once in a gate (any gate) you camp where you want.

Yellow is unofficial in Hylands unless the farm has now been hired. I havn't been there but it is 10-15 minute walk and may well not have 24 hour amenities (sp?) like the Red/blue campsite. Basically yellow is for families/older generations who want a bit more peace, at least it has been in previous years anyway.

Friday camping tickets will probaly sell out in less than 3 hours so be ready.
