I called Virgin yesterday. I am currently a Sky customer. Managed to get the Kahuna bundle with an additional recordable box for £43 per month for 12 months and £50 after that. I could have added Sky Sports channels and it would have been £68 including line rental and installation. Pretty happy with that!

When you have the Netflix and BT Sport not sure it is worth the extra for Sky movies and Sky sports but each to there own.....My package is Big Kahuna TV, XL Broadband (152mb), Phone (line rental + landline calls free for 6 mths) £33 all in.Tivo 1TB in one room, Virgin HD box for 2nd room) and 6 months free Netflix.BT Sports. If you pay the phone upfront (£144) it is only £20 per month and best of all its a 12mth contract:)

You need to be referred and they will contact you.
After I spoke to them I got it all confirmed via email for peace of mind but all was fine. It was no problem keeping my BT telephone number either.

I have been a virgin customer for 6 yrs and called them yesterday to tell them I was going to sky just to see what they would offer me and there offer was crap, not as good as new customers. told them to shove it and given them 30 days notice. do you think they will phone me with a better offer???

Yip, just got offered the same deal

Although if you pay the £144 upfront for the line rental then the monthly payment is £40

So £52 a month in total

A Virginmedia salesman knocked on my door. He told me briefly about a deal for £50 a month plus line rental (i.e £65.99) for fibre broadband, two recordable boxes, BT Sports, ESPN, Sky Sports and Sky Movies and free installation. This is £18 cheaper than my Sky services with standard broadband and no multi-room and no BT Sports.

Worrying about the validity of the offer and whether the salesman was genuine, I looked here to find out more. Unfortunately I just couldn't access the offer at all :(

I ended up calling the salesman who came round and gave me a brochure. He told me the package is especially for Sky customers
and is called the Exclusive 50 http://www.virginmedia.com/exclusive50

I signed up there and then!

It wasn't until later that I found roughly the same deal online at http://store.virginmedia.com/big-bundles/big-kahuna.html but with £50 off oO

Quite happy to have got more for less money but kicking myself on missing out on the additional £50 (_;)
