Virgin Media Customers sim only £12.00 per month rolling contract

  I have found Virgin Media CS very helpful when needed.
  
  But i have been trying for months to upgrade my sim only to a Samsung S2, but they wont budge of a 26.99 a month deal :(
  as i only pay 6.21 its not worth it for me at the moment.

  I'm sure they would do a better deal on the S2 after next Thursday, when the new S3 is announced!

  I'm i looking in the wrong place or is this a typo by the OP cos on the £12 tariff you get 125 mins not 1125 mins......?

  As a Nynex/C&W/NTL/Virgin customer (of many years), I don't think I've ever come across such appalling customer service. If my cable ever goes wrong, I usually leave it as long as possible in the hope it might fix itself so I don't have to ring them! Hmmm, perhaps that's their plan! Seriously, they just read from scripts and send you all round the different departments in the hope you'll go away. And no I can't swap them for anyone else in my block :-(

  If you've been with virgin a while might be worth ringing them up and asking for a deal. I was on a rolling contract with 250 mins, 3000 txts and 1gb of internet for £10 a month, they rang me up one day and sorted me out a deal and now im on a 12 month contract with 150 extra mins but only paying £5.

  I believe Virgin are on same T-mobile/Orange network.

  theyve got an offer on for free multi room via v+ hd box if you upgrade to a tivo box with free install and connection

  They use t-mobile towers yeah? Can only get t-mobile where I am, my house is like a black hole for mobile phones! Three gives a perfect signal all round me, but within 10m of my house nothing. O2 I can get in one corner of my bedroom, Orange in 2 rooms upstairs, yet I live in the middle of a built up area where everyone can get a signal.

  Good question. 1125 does seem a strange number. If is is 125 then it's a truly dreadful 'deal'.

  My wife has got 800 mins any network / 3000 mins to virgin mobiles / 3000 texts + 1GB internet for 6.83 a month on a rolling contract. Starts of as a £20.43 a month contract but Virgin gave a £14 discount. Loads of others have gotten similar deals with them too. Cold from me. Soz.

  Im with them already, internet is verrrrry slow loading, except when late at night when the network goes less busy. They claim it defaults to orange however this does not always happen. I cannot wait to leave them. They might be cheap but its not worth the hastle in my opinion. Just a bit of advice-Dont use unless you are prepared to settle for a very slow internet connection.

  Virgin are completely incompetent when it comes to billing. At the end of my initial 12 month deal with them they promised to give me a rolling monthly contract with 512Mb of data, minutes and texts for around £10 a month.
  
  I took them up on this, but within 4 months I cancelled - call quality is OK (they use T-Mobile's network), and data speeds are OK, but billing is a nightmare. I had to ring their customer services twice over the 4 months to get the data 'add-on' applied to my account as it wasn't all done automatically at the same time.
  
  Good deal if it all works out, but make sure to check your bills and check your online control panel to make sure that the data addon is being applied.

Except Virgin's online billing system isn't set up to cope with discounts properly and the people kept getting charged the full whack and had to ring CS every month just to get their discounts manually added!

  This happens to me constantly - with 3 phones! BUT still cheap. Just rang & threatened to leave and got our £10 reduced to £7.43

  just be carefull if u have an iphone 4 or 4s as they dont do micro sims. got sim cutter off ebay. used it for my virgin 12 months contract sim and im getting at least twice a day SIM INVALID. Restarting phone fixes the problem but im gonna have to do that for next 10 months everyday. Thats my second sim with the same problem from virgin and im not the only one. after googling the problem found out that a lot people get that too.

  I've got a Virgin Media Sim only on slightly reduced different limits and can't fault it for £7.21 a month. The I get
  
  150 cross network minutes
  3000 virgin minutes
  5000 texts
  1gb Internet
  
  The missus gets the same for £5.21 due her previous contract with them!
