Use this link http://www.virginmedia.com/shop.html - not sure why the hotuk website changed the destination.

The link takes you to a 18 month contract of which the first 12 months are at £22 and then defaults to £32.25 for the remainder.

No - it's a 12 month contract not 18. I signed up today and the website says 12 months

The price isn't exactly out of this world compared to BT, and virgin cannot offer free use of the FON network, which is a big attraction when I can get free wifi all day at work.

Unlike you I'm unable to use my phone "all day at work" how ever when come home to 2 children all watching and playing xbox also a wife indulging in Netflix I can flick my xbox on and enjoy lag free gaming whilst the whole house is loving life as well. So to have a happy home instead of free WiFi at work I know what I'm choosing.

Had Virgin Media for many years and nothing but issues in terms of connectivity using their broadband. I have to say the speed they offer is fantastic but only when it works and then once working for how long. Not a bad deal but not great either. Take a look at their customers comments before you dive in.

Pretty hot, usually BB only is more expensive than taking BB with TV... Which I've always thought was stupid.

I would like to swap back to VM with this offer but I've had the same landline for over a decade now so I would not like to lose it. On the other hand, I don't fancy paying an extra £7/mth just to so a handful of mobilephobic F&F and "Microsoft" engineers can contact me. Does anyone know of a free/cheap service that accept PACs that I could use to park my landline number please?

Never mind just refreshed and notice that the deal has expired
