Anytime calls to UK mobiles and 0845 / 0870 were only available on £15/month package before. Now it is included in £8/Talk unlimited

If anyone on usual Talk unlimited bundle, call customer service now and they will upgrade this to existing package for free. No extra contracts or charges if you are paying £8/month less any loyalty discounts.

Hope this helps someone, as I was charged to call 0845 until now and now with a phone call to customer service this is included. UK mobile calling bonus.

It's a small start... it's still missing the really big on service/always small on price deal... ;)

Since 13 June 2014, retailers, traders and passenger transport companies must use numbers starting 01, 02, 03 or 080 for customer service lines. Since 26 October 2015, the regulation has been extended to cover banks, card companies and insurers. There should be no need to have to call 0845 or 0870 numbers.

On the other hand, inclusive calls to mobile numbers will be very useful.

I've just been charged nearly £10 for two calls to currys and I'm on talk unlimited. Ridiculous prices

Try the app WQ4U. It's saved me loads of money on premium numbers. You just put in the premium number and it will find you a number which only uses your inclusive minutes.

If you had called Curry's on their new 0344 number, in use since June 2014, the call would have counted towards your inclusive allowance.

Presumably you called some other number.

This could have been Curry's old premium rate 0844 number which, while still operational, cannot be promoted for after-sales enquiries.

Alternatively, you may have used a premium rate "call connection service" number set up by a third party. This is a widespread scam that pervades Google search results for government departments, banks, insurers and well-known retailers. These numbers charge a premium rate and forward your calls. By calling an unofficial number you are paying extra to a scammer for a call that would have been inclusive had you called the official number.

Never use numbers found on old paperwork, directly in Google and other such search results or on third-party websites, especially if the number starts 070, 084, 087, 090, 091 or 098. Always check official websites for new numbers starting 01, 02, 03 or 080.

What do we ask for when we call?

What do we ask for when we call?

Just unleash hell on them for not automatically switching you, got all my mobile calls refunded for the last few months and put on the new tariff (which is the same price).

Or if you're a calm person, call them and ask to change over (and make sure they don't remove any other bonuses you have running in parallel)

P.S. The Original Poster is wrong, its not called Talk Unlimited (that was the old tariff which is defunct), when you ring up its the "Anytime" tariff you want

Existing customer had this as talk unlimited, which you can simply ask to add uk mobile and 08 call for free. Than they will change to anytime bundle which is current name.
