Amazing deal. Apparently it's a national Poundland offer. Great for having to use with their £10 data deal. May work in tablets/iPads as well but don't take my word on it.

Would also be good for donating to the text charities? Pay £1 and give £10?
#4
would be good for PSN credit (£5 for £1 as you need few pence for a text msg)
#5
Use for entering competitions!

Why cold?

I've always found Virgin mobile aren't that popular on HUKD. Cracking deal though and certainly heat from me.

Virgin media use EE network

Yes, but you are restricted after doing so many. From previous T-Mobile threads, I think you are allowed around 5 before they restrict your ability to add any more. The restriction was lifted after a time though, but obviously Sony can change this at any time if they suspect questionable activity.

Always make sure you use gift aid for another 20% to be donated by the government. Just used all my EE cards with £5 which were also in Pound land.

What is the deal here.....

Are these loaded with £10 already or do you have to top up?!?!?

mine says:

Top up £10 and choose:

120 mobile minutes and unlimited landline

or

1gb data and 3000 texts?

So this just looks like a normal sim card where you top up and then choose a call or data/text plan?!
#25
Come on someone.....tell all. Have we got yet another mega hot deal that isn't, or is this the real thing?
#26
I always see these things. I'm sure you pay a pound for the sim, but you need to top up ten pound for the minutes and data.

Where is the OP?!

Has he realised this is a crap deal and legged it?

I want my pound back....don't try and ruin my christmas lol
#28
FALSE DEAL, £10 TOP UP REQUIRED TO GET ANY ALLOWANCE + £1 FOR THE SIM
#29
April fool has came early
Its £1 for the sim and you have to top up £10 to get the minutes texts and data asked in my local poundland today ,
They said a few people have been in asking the same question and theyve had to explain its no different than any other £1 sim you buy,you still have to top it up
#30
Im sure with Virgin PAYG when you top up £10 and spend it on a tariff they also let you keep the £10 to spend on what you want. I bet this is what the OP means

Do I really care? I buy a lot of branded good even if their is a cheaper alternative, sorry you haven't worked hard enough to be in a position to buy 69p apps

You are blaming the OP yet you couldn't read either as it would clearly say £10 free on the front of the package

Also I'm with Virgin Mobile for past 3 years and not had a issue, sorry to see you deeply offended by posting "Mugs".
