I didn't spot this, but not sure if possible to use in conjunction with the above discounts? Even if you can't, still better off going through TCB as that's £80 off instead of my £70!

Wrong link.

Link is copied straight from bundle page, but not going through correctly when clicked for some reason.

Assume this does not include the line rental?

Edit...scratch that looks like it does include the Line Rental!

There is no line rental.

Thanks...sorry daft question but do you literally just go to live chat and quote "Have50" or do you start the order and enter it somewhere?
#11
You get a better v6 box and some premium channels when you pay 39 a month... and then get 140 cashback to make up for the extra money a month.

Go on chat too they gave me 50 extra off with a code. I think it was welc0me maybe?? I'll look and see if it's in my emails

I think if you ask them about some chat offers they will mention it. Or you can say a friend used a Have50 code, then they should discuss it with you.

I have been shopping around today and that certainly seems like the best option. Would be excellent if you could find the code. Thank you in advance. 8)

Think it might be b0nus50

You can do your order up to the voucher page to see if it works without committing to buying!

I've just put in a request to cancel my package

150MB + phone line which i've been paying £47 a month (slowly creeped up from a much lower price due to their constant price hikes.)

Guy didn't offer me any package at all (this is quite normal for me in retentions of any contract) and was happy for me to request my 30 day cancellation.

Now... the question is this..

1. Will i get a call from virgin for a stonking deal i cannot refuse?
If not..
2. Can i open a new contract now as per this deal, in my other halves name for the contract to start when my current expires in 30 days???

or...
3. What are my other options for fibre broadband around the £30 ish mark.?

Have50 works on this bundle too!

Anyway of getting this if currently in contract?

Just recently signed up with Virgin Media. I was told that the £50 coupon couldn't be used with a referral, so it's one or the other. I went through uswitch - £30/m for 100mbps broadband and weekend calls (won't be using the TV so there's no point). Gonna give them a call tomorrow, I'll try to get the unlimited calls and the £20 installation fee knocked off since my installation was delayed.

On the tcb page it says that cashback is void if you use a voucher code. Can someone confirm if cashback works even when using the Have50 code? Thanks in advance.

Anyone who called to cancel let us know the outcome please :) I'll give them a call to see what they offer tomorrow. This post reminded me that I need to give them my usual yearly call!

I'm thinking of chucking VM (once the contract ends) for Origin Broadband, that's £30 for 76mb.

You tend to get better deals if you talk to them about adding another service, this could be small like changing your phone to unlimited calls or upping your broadband to a higher speed. Just did mine to 300mb and it was less than I was paying for 200mb!

Not while your in contract. Once your out of contract you can negotiate. I do this every year and always get more for my money.

I've done this a couple of times, they will call you in a few days to make an offer. If its not what you want say no, and they will call again with a better offer. Currently i get 100mb + weekend free calls for £20 which I am happy with

:p
I did the same last week and was getting a little edgy about not getting called back
I got 150mg broadband full tv (without sports and movies) newest box (replacement and technician installation free) and weekend calls all for £47.50 inc line rental

On Saturday I spoke to VM customer service to renew my contract, I was told a new policy had been put in place. I will not get a call back once I have given my 30 days notice. Secondly after the termination of VM services there will be a 90 days cooling off period, meaning for 90 days after the termination of the contract goes into effect VM will not supply my property with any of it's services regardless of who lives there.

The 500GB TiVO box is trash, tho. You'll curse every time you have to use it.

I'd love to see where that is written as T&Cs.

I've done option 2 before, as there was a decent deal going at the time. But Yes, you will get a call from retentions, but might not be as good as this

I signed up recently and had the install done on Friday, no install or activation fee and £50 credit for the friend referral. Additionally line rental of £30 pm after credit £2 a month

Chat didn't offer anything. Direct sales didn't offer anything however 30min later pre sales called and offered me this deal. The jokers signed me up however didn't apply the discounts to my account until a few days later when I threatened to cancel the order. Make sure you verify any deal they offer you a few days later. When I called up, customer services told me such deals aren't offered and I was misinformed!

You will not get TiVo 500 as virgin engineers don't have them they carry v6 boxes

£20 activation and £40 installation on these bundles (for me anyway). Spoke to sales and they offered to drop those plus a £50 credit (mix bundle, £39/m). Any way to improve on that?
#39
I just "cancelled"...

don't waste time with normal customer services, ask to speak to retentions for starters

listen to what they offer (it won't be the best offer) then say no thanks and give your 30 day notice

they will phone you back within 7 days

I got full house TV package, with BT Sports etc., 150meg BB, v6 box, £50 credit, weekend landlines (don't even own a phone but they chuck it in), no install costs etc

£39 a month, saving almost £20 from what I was paying previously for far less, so it worked for me :)

I got a retention deal recently that included an upgrade to 100mbs from 50mbs but I rarely got the 50 and its doesn't seem to have improved since the upgrade! The whole speed thing is totally misleading and certainly around here (Dudley) the 100 mbs is a fantasy!!
