I also have Virgin TV et all. And I have a Virgin Mobile (as I have had for nigh on four years). This last contract has run for 24 months and is due to expire in April. Thank God. Although the first contract I had with this network all went ok and I would have happily sung their praises. The last contract has meant that I cannot wait to get away from them. They are seriously rubbish. Over the past 20 months I have had five *FIVE* handsets, all replacements because they stopped working, I have experienced terrible terrible customer service, and most importantly I never seem to get a decent signal from them. Other people walk past me chatting on their phones, so I'm obviously in an area that is serviced, and yet I invariably have no signal at all. No matter how sweet the deal. Think seriously before bedding in with these muppets for 2 years.

I posted a deal for a virgin phone yesterday, which was slaughtered. Its a good enough phone with an okay contract, just a shame its 24 months :( but good find all the same :)

i got this in an email. for virgin customers only

Can you keep a secret? Good. You see, we’ve got an exclusive mobile offer that you simply won’t find anywhere else.

It’s an HTC Wildfire, and it’s free on our £15.32 a month tariff. And the exciting thing is, it’s not for everyone; it’s only for Virgin Media customers like you.

This clever smartphone keeps you constantly connected to your email, Facebook, news, apps, alerts and more. But remember, this offer is only for Virgin Media customers. So please, keep it under your woolly hat.

It's not a bad deal, though paying £15/month for 100 mins and 500 texts that I would barely use, and I'm not sure 500 MB data allowence would be enough for me, if I could ditch the texts and have 1GB data, I'd seriously consider this, or the Samsung Galaxy on the same tariff (plus a lump for the phone).

I called them and they kind of matched the talk mobile £12 tariff which offers 200min 200txt and 500mb with the £15.32 tariff but put a recurring £3 credit on my account and the wildfire for free which I received yesterday (I also had the android 2.2 update available which works really well). It is a 24 month contract which doesnt suit everyone but Im happy with it.

Shame they can't keep a secret...they posted this in the national press but the 'virgin customers only' is in the smallest possible print.

Their customer service is really rubish :3

Regardless of Virgin being rubbish (the CS is I'll agree!), why on earth would you get this when the desire is only £5/m more? Seriously...
