Having had the misfortune to taste some of Virgin's wines, I think "barf barf" is more appropriate than "hic hic" :)

Their wine is ok for flavouring gravy etc but you wouldn't want to expose your stomach to too much of it. Not when you've got to get up for work next day anyway!
Mine wasn't bad chuckles..I mixed the case myself with wines I knew were OK..I did have one bottle that was corked and they refunded to my credit card without question...but I agree some of their cheaper stuff is really rough.
Ive had a few of these offers from Virgin Wines. If they were not discounted there is no way I would pay their prices. Their cheapest wines are around £5.99 and I can get far better for £2.99 from my local Tesco. I think they survive on the convenience factor i.e. you dont need to lug it back from the supermarket yourself but can have it delivered to the door.
