Are you sure about this? Aren't they based in Hong Kong which means your liable for import duty.

Why not? I've been charged VAT on imported goods ordered on the internet. Real pain to pay the £8 fee, VAT, and a trip to the sorting office.

Not worth it.

Anything over £18.

as already said the chances of it happening tho are very slim

it's definately worth it

You will not get charged Import Duty from Play Asia if you're getting something small (regarless of value) that they send via regular air mail.

I've ordered loads of games from Play Asia and never have I had to pay Import Duty o VAT etc from them.

The only time I've had to pay it from them is when I've used courier.

So people really should hush up if they have no experience of this retailer.

Regardless of import duty this game isnt worth it.

Its so pathetically simple! You basically use one button, as lobs DO NOT work (they get returned every time). And anyone looking for a realistic tennis game post-Wimbledon will be dissapointed as this is a highly unrealistic affair (albeit intentionally).

Get Top Spin 2 if you really want a tennis game.

altho Top Spin 2 is a quality game, Virtua Tennis is much better like imo

Lobs do work if you use them at the right time.

good price, good game, just a shame that i don't like tennis games!

What game you been playing, lobs only work if you use them properly and loads fo people always play drop shots with the slice button or play it short.

DOn't see why people should hush up about customs fraud????

Note: Some unscrupulous overseas suppliers openly advertise on the internet, or on their web-sites that they will deliberately either misdescribe items or underdeclare their value in order to evade customs charges that are legally due on importation. You should be aware that although the foreign sender may have completed the customs declaration form on the parcel you are regarded (in law) as the importer of the goods and responsible for the information on the declaration, and any customs charges that may be due. This means that if you purchase goods from these suppliers and the declaration is found to be false or misleading you may be liable to financial penalties or criminal prosecution. Furthermore the goods themselves will be liable to forfeiture. It is in your own interests to ensure Customs declarations are completed properly.

You never have anything good to say, why not make a constructive comment or hush up!

It seemed like he made a valid comment to me. Buyers should be aware that there's a chance that they may have to pay extra. It happened to me when I last bought from play-asia.
#24
Well your the first person ever that has had to pay more!

Mine arrived today, along with some Play and charge kits i bought from them.

Didn't need to pay a penny extra.
