Ok - here's how to get it at the above price...
Add to your basket - then find the World of Warcraft 14 Day Trial Disk - for 1.49.
You can then use the 'SENSE' code a checkout for a £5 discount on orders over £30
and this means £26.48!

cheaper from play asia...

Play-Asia is always going to be cheaper because they have different tax rates and lower labour costs etc but when you order from Play-Asia, you have to bare in mind the additional delivery time from the other side of the world, whereas your local website and there's always a chance of getting hit with customs charges, which although it's rare, it does happen.

This is a really good price and instead of ordering the World of Warcraft trial, you could always order a gift voucher so you could use it for whatever you want in the future or even a pack of £0.99p batteries.

Hope that helps.

Voted cold as it is cheaper...

£24.58
#8
yeah realfriendlyman - except even this deal is cheaper than playasia. I think the WOW demo was the cheapest item to push 29.99 over £30 to qualify for the discount. The batteries at 49p were all 'sold out' - prob as its been used in the past

Does anyone know if you can use the "sense" code more than once?
#17
hmmmm good price but WOWdemo no thanks
#18
I`m Not sure, but out of interest have just tried the code on a purchase of 2 x £15 gift cards and it has taken the £5 off and says debit my card with £25! . So you could order the vouchers and then pick any £29.99 game up instore for £25! And if it does work more than once, you could put in multiple voucher orders for things of a higher value and effectivly get 17% off anything instore?

I mite just do that---or buy the vouchers for £25 then go online and use them on the game and you will get it for £25 lol

Na doesnt work - says voucher rules not satisfied or something
#22
Isn't the World of Warcraft trial period free at the mo? I'm sure I've seen a link somewhere...

Funny thing is with this thread that no ones actually commented on the game, whether its worth the money. And frankly to vote it cold because you can save just over a quid is a little petty.

Also, PlayAsia deliver pretty quickly considering the game's coming from the other side of the World. I'd like to see The Royal Mail do better.

:whistling: Play-Asia will get the item to you via Royal Mail too........

I've voted it hot. If people really want to be picky, then why don't you take Quidco (-9%=£24.10) and GAME reward points into consideration?

At PA you also run the risk of customs (however small) and you get a game that is lower in resale value, not to mention not in stock. :giggle:

Finally, someone that has actually looked into it fully, with a well constructed post.

If i could change my vote i would vote hot!

 Err, thanks.......:-D

Some calculations for anyone interested:

GAME
£26.48 [Price] - £2.38 [Quidco] = £24.10

Play-Asia
$48 [Price] ~ £24.14 [Today's rate]

The PA game works out 4p more expensive when you take Quidco into consideration, and your CC company will add a fees for converting the money into pounds, so it'll probably work out about a bit more with PA, not considering GAME points.

Read my post again. I never said it's cheaper on PA.....

PA is $48 delivered ($44.90+$3.10), which is £24.14 at todays rate. Since PA charge you in $, you will pay at least that, along with a small fee to your CC company for converting the money into £.
#29
Ok then, was a bit confused by the detail of your post!!
Glad someone appreciated a decent price for this game! Supposed to be cracking - most of the past versions have been.
#30
Dont forget the Game Points aswell :)

Dont worry you never said its cheaper on PA (someone cant read)
#31
to be fair you did say its $48 on play asia which is aint...
#32
Game US$ 44.90 + Shipping US$ 3.10 = US$ 48.00

Seems someone cant read nor do math :)
#33
Not having a good day to be fair!!!
Tho that price is a bit pointless as the one 'totalling' $48 is backordered so I just discounted that from the equation
#34
You discounting it from the equation that game is cheaper anyway - you really are having a bad day!
#35
yeah stop winding me up and leave me alone!!!!
its a good deal, I ordered one, I suggest you all do the same.
Peace
#36
Great post, ordered mine and voted hot.
#37
Theres a deal going now at argos 2 games for £35 inc Virtual Tennis 3 so you can either get 2 games for £35 or get 2 virtual tennis 3's and take one to blockbusters and get £26 credit or to Gamestation and £27.
