Bought this a few weeks ago. It looks great and does the job well. Would recommend to anyone.

This looks an awful lot like the Serano stands that Dixons / Currys sell for £100+.

Hi, This is a very good buy IMHO. Am sure this would cost 3-4 times the amount that eBuyer are selling them for on the high street.

Voted hot.

NOt sure how they can sell them this cheap, thanks for the info guys

I'd be cautious ordering from eBuyer. I ordered the other glass TV stand that was on here recently and the entire middle glass shelf was missing.

Now I've got all the hastle of trying to send it back and wait for a new one. :x

I thought this was a great deal until I read...

*Please note that Plasma and DVD player are not included.

I got this very stand for my plasma back in February for around £40.
That was incredibly good value but £20.27 is just crazy.

Highly recommended.

Voted HOT. Just ordered mine. Looking at the reviews on Ebuyer (47 approx) it seems like almost every other person received their glass shelving damaged. Of course this is probably the fault of the carrier unless Ebuyer bought a job lot cheap. Probably explains the price. However I decided that id go for it and cross my fingers that mines ok. Ive bought from ebuyer before and they were very good BUT ive not had a problem - some other people suggest that they are not so good when a problem arrises. We will see. Either way Im voting on the quality of the deal here and all credit to the op - its a great deal. Thanks.

Just ordered one too - added in a HP photoprinter to bring my total to £50.26 so in effect, got the printer for £15 thanks to the free delivery!
Voted hot and thank you!

shouldnt the delivery price be included in the deal

It's a good deal IF you get a decent one! I tried to buy it last year and it was sent, part opened with a leg missing. Phoned ebuyer and they said they'd get me a new leg. 2 weeks later nothing so phone back and they say they wont send out a leg because they only send out complete ones! so had to get it picked up and waited for another one, which was also open and had nasty chips all along each shelf! i wanted to refuse delivery but guy just dumped it on the drive and left! :? phoned ebuyer got it picked up for a "full" refund but they wouldnt refund delivery.

Spot the difference:
£20.27 from eBuyer

£199.99 from Currys

Certainly not worth the extra £179.72 IMHO :giggle:

I don't have a HDTV yet but I'm wondering whether I should order this beforehand?

I'm planning on getting a HDTV around or after Christmas. Currently I have a Toshiba 32ZP48 CRT TV which serves me well.

My stand arrived today. I opened the box expecting it to be damaged due to the reviews on the website BUT I found it to be 100% intact, the box was not damaged at all and all pieces were there - including 1 extra nut (at least I think it's supposed to be extra!!). Anyway I unpacked it and put it together - no equipment needed as it all goes together with only the use of an allen key (provided in the box). Im completely rubbish at putting stuff together but I came across no problems - took me 45 minutes from receiving to it being in one piece and ready for my TV. It's very long also - I have a PS2, Xbox 360, Wii and Dreamcast all side by side on the same shelf. Plenty of room. Theres also holes in the support at the back for cable management.

When you build it all the parts look and feel very cheap and tacky - don't worry or let this put you off - once built it looks very expensive and loses the tackiness. Word of warning though - Im a big guy and I was just able to flip the stand over after building (you build it upside down y'see) - if youre not that strong or without big arms it could be easier if someone helps you. This thing is heavy (which is good). The delivery guy needed my help with it and I can see why. I paid extra for quick delivery so it cost me £41 in total - still a bargain.

Now it's up Im very very happy with it and Id like to thank the OP for putting me onto this.

guys... got my delivery today. boo-hoo... yes you've guessed it... 1 shattered glass!!! Not at all happy... :(

I got one of these a few weeks ago! It looks fab...although the TV isn't on it yet as I haven't had time to shift the original (much more chunky) unit!!!

Mine was all intact...fab buy...thanks to the OP!

I feel for those with a duff one though...Ebuyer are a pain when you want to return things and then they go out of stock!!

Hey just a little update

Was meant to get mine last thursday, didnt arrive. Phoned City Link (delivery company) & they said the item was "destroyed" when they got it, thus they didnt bother sending it to me (thanks for not letting me know ) and they told me to contact ebuyer.

I just phoned ebuyer, who put me on hold while they themselves phoned City Link. She confirmed it was destroyed & have a new one out to me free of charge. She said hopefully it will be with me tomorrow (i need it by this saturday as my new tv arrives on Saturday from John Lewis & my sky plus install is also on Thursday).
Hopefully everything turns out ok. I mean the £260 saving i am making (yes John Lewis sell these for £300!!!), means it worth all the delays, etc as long as i get it in the end.
