I have this and its a good solid stand, it takes up a lot of space so worth keeping that in mind. I paid slightly less for it in the January sale but checked the model number on the box on google when it was delivered and there are places selling it for 3x as much.

It makes sense buying some other stuff at the same time to get the free delivery over 49.99 spend as its 45.00 including delivery, so you might as well spend the extra fiver and get twenty pounds worth of stuff!

Really? Is the delivery included in the total then? Bargainous. Will just measure up at home.

I bought this, a load of energiser batteries and a new Sony DVD RW drive at the bargain price of £50.06 delivered!!

Happy days...

I got this stand when it was reduced to 25 quid before. Absolute bargain. My mate came in who had bought a stand for over 100 quid and was shocked at how good it looks.

I got this free with an Acer 32" LCD. 4 years on and the TV has died, but the stand is still going strong!

I have this stand from ebuyer & it's great. There is plenty of space underneath for the xbox & various other av stuff. The cables hang around out the back because no matter what tidying means there are on a stand you can't always use them as intended. The tube sections which make up the legs aren't exactly well finished but you put silver coating covered plastic ends on which are what is in contact with the glass shelves. Basically the whole thing is held together by long threaded bars from the top shelf to each foot, and pieces of tube are positioned between each shelf. When it's all tightened up it is pretty rigid. Bear in mind it does weigh a bit but I coped by myself. Recommended :)

Is this stand intended for the corner of a room? It certainly looks like it is.

I want to site my 42" plasma as close to the wall as possible in the corner of the room, not sticking out by a foot or so.

Just been delivered.

I put it together on my own in 10 minutes, and put it into place. Have to admit it's fantastic value for money. Really nice quality, and contruary to the reviews on ebuyer was really well packaged.

I would completely recommend this to anyone - looking at it now, and the price of others, for £50 delievered it's still a bargain.

If you want me to give you decent measurements of the shape of the shelves then I will do, but send me a quick PM & put a link to this thread please because I probably won't see a reply seeing as the whole discussion is a couple of days old now.

hi i just tried to spend £59 i was purshcasing 2 of these tv stand but the total is still coming out at 88.14 how do get get free delivery ? thanks in advance.

Frre delivery is for over £49-99 and under 25Kg. I assume 2 of the stands are over 25Kg.

Could someone please post the dimensions of the shelves, preferably the height of the gaps, useable depth, and useable width (taking into account the narrowing at the back - I have a very deep amp, and if it were to be placed to the extreme left or right I expect that one corner may be hanging off the back).

Also, regarding someone's comment about threaded poles going from the feet up to the top shelf - do you think there is any possibility of adjusting the gaps between the shelves? Possibly by moving the middle shelf up, by adding spacers to the lower legs and shortening the upper legs?
#22
The shelf heights could be changed but when you introduce a spacer you're going to weaken the physical properties of the stand. I promise I will measure my stand the next time I go to the shed (thursday) and get my tape measure. For what it's worth I have a 500W receiver on my bottom shelf & it is fully on the glass.
