I know you shouldnt read too much into specs but a contrast of 800:1 ? you must be kidding, talk about yesteryear....must have an unbelievably **** picture with poor depth of colour....a cheap as chips LG panel too....for less than £100 more you could buy the panasonic px80 plasma
#2
it boasts high contrast ratios

Thats amusing 800:1 think i would prefer a crt television

Considering even most well known branded flat panel TVs I see are **** I dread to think what a Vistron may look like. Comedy contrast aside, you can spec a screen but it doesn't mean it will look good.

Lol, clueless, just jump on the bandwagon.

A CRT wil have a much deeper colour definition over this and almost every other LCD on the market.

Even ones with a high contrast ratio will not touch a CRT.

Plasma on the other hand, now we are really talking......

Not as amusing as your comment.

CRT Televisions are superior to LCD Televisions in every respect apart from size.

These have Samsung panels do they not? Which takes the ratio to a slightly more respectable 1500:1

seems to have vanished???? Expired.
