Just been in my local Aldi they had cartons of 1 litre vita coco coconut water for just £1.99!
The same bottle is £3.12 in Holland and Barrett so seems a good deal!! :)

too sweet (added sugar).

If you haven't tried this then I recommend you don't. I tried it once and kept drinking it again and again until it was all gone. They've added something in this drink which makes you thirsty afterwards. (_;)

Wow, I thought it was just me. Very strange.. I think it's the electrolytes that make your body aware that it is dehydrated and you need more.. That's the only solution I can find.. Love it though, really refreshing.

Good healthy stuff, though I prefer the taste of the coconut water you get in cans as it has a bit of pulp at the bottom. Coconut water is very good for avoiding cramps due to the postassium electrolytes.

Can you buy Foco coconut water from the supermarket giants? Those sound interesting...
The only place I've managed to find this brand is on Amazon.com; have to say their coconut water does have very good feedback and reviewers repeatedly mention the flavour surpassing Vita Coco's: http://www.amazon.com/Foco-100-Coconut-Water-Ounce/dp/B008MG7B92#customerReviews

Hot deal nonetheless OP for a typically overpriced product :)

#16

I like it, but it depends on the individual. Try it?

Good deal. Just bought 6 for £11.38 from Costco, so if you buy alot then costco is a bit of saving, otherwise this is probably better as you dont need to stock up.

I love this, 3.99 in Tesco and sainsbury's. I got the last carton in my aldi on Sunday, would have bought a lot more if they had them
#26
A lot of people I've spoken to who drink this swear by it but I can't get past the taste. Really not for me. But a deal is a deal. Heat. :)
#27
I've tried most coconut water including this. Unfortunately its watered down and overpriced for what it is.

I have tasted coconut milk, this caught me unaware for the horror I was about to experience when necking back a carton of this. I suppose I could have said no, but a picture paints a thousand words, hopefully I painted a picture in your mind with my words.

You can buy a 6 pack of this from costco saw it yesterday worked out just under £2 per carton

There is no added sugar. It's pure coconut water. This is a great price so will be keeping an eye out for this in my local. Thanks

Suggest you do too. ;) The article is either very poorly worded or simply incorrect. Article states 8oz (about 240ml) has 11g of sugar, that is not 11 teaspoons that the title picture shows and would be more than a can of coke! A 330ml carton has about 16g or 4 teaspoons of sugar. This equates to about 5% sugar which is pretty standard for coconut water.

Added fruit sugar is not the standard for coconut water.
Suggest you first try actual coconut water and see the huge difference in taste that added sugar makes.

No but it's a small amount and perhaps it's not standard for other brands of coconut water but this is just to standardise the different harvests.

I was simply pointing out that there is nowhere near as much sugar as the article claims. The 5% sugar level is typical in most brands including cocofina and tiana.

Yeah their coconut juice does but their coconut water doesn't have any added.

Lucky you, drinking from an actual coconut is probably the best way!
