Now that's one fancy looking boomerang.

great price but not the best tyre best spending some more money, I have a set in my garage that has only done a couple of hundred miles, not great in the wet.

they're slicks

they're slicks

Being road tyres it really doesn't matter at 23/25mm.

Could be good for use on a turbo (could just use a purpose made tyre for that though, at a higher cost)

be very careful with these in the wet! they're fine on dry roads and very puncture proof but in wet they're literally dangerous! - it does say on the package to only use on dry roads so Vittoria is not there to get blamed! but knowing uk, it can go from nice and sunny to killer rain in 30minutes.

Because of the high pressures we run road tyres at and the small contact area with the road we find that tread patterns vs slick makes very little to no difference in the wet.

Perhaps a better way of putting it is that you have to be just as careful in the wet on treadded tyres as you have to be on slicks.

No good for me living in the west coast of Scotland where it probably rains 50 weeks of the year !! will buy and send to my friend in the Sudan !

Good price for budget tyres, but if you are a regular rider then invest in something a little better. Can't put a price on your safety, and there's many better tyres out there for a small additional outlay.

These will still do a job for some, so well spotted.

There is a huge difference between different tyres, yes there is a small contact area and therefore the compound makes even more of a difference, these are terrible in the wet, if you want something good get the continental 4000s but they are four times the price, but worth it.

They'll be fine in the winter just be careful going round corners, same with any narrow tyre.

You're speaking from your various previous experiences presumably.
