Viva Pinata £9.99 Collect at Store - Comet

Expect the game to be instore with a £40+ price tag on. Comet are useless in changing price tickets - which means more opportunity for us. They will scan at £9.99
Showing availability in all stores locally to me.
The only downside is staff are renowned for taking stock for themselves once they realise the price through the reservation.
Stick to your guns!

You're very welcome.
If it helps only one member, then it's worth the post. :)

Careful.. I bought this earlier in the week. I popped the disc in, and next thing I know, 3 hours had passed.

Might go for this too, Best of all if you want another game like need for speed for £9.99 you can also add this for store collection as well (If purchased on it's own it only avaliable for home delivery)

cheers

Comet are absolute tossers for stealing reservations and taking saving stock for themselves...
Reserved a controller/pg3/arcade pack and need for speed carbon £19;99 and £4.99 respectively on seperate occasions... only for staff to claim that there is none left...

"Well I want to speak to your manager"... wa-la if by magic they turn up! amazing...

Tried the demo and could not get into it - is this much better than the demo?

:giggle: I'm glad you said that because I got viva pinata in my console bundle and had no intention of playing it as it didn't look my sort of thing, but curiosity got the better of me last night and the next thing I knew 5 hours had passes and it was 3am

Keeps telling me that "collect from store" is not available...
Is this a temporary glitch?

Ideal for most here then :p

it may have "childish" visuals, but it's a simulation game. Most children are bored stiff of sim games. Viva Piñata: Party Animals is usually liked by children though, being a party game.

I'm not a fan of sim games, but I can play Viva Piñata for a while and find it enjoyable.

both comet and pc world / currys staff steal the collect at stores.

Alot of staff will hide the products so they cant get sold.

Thanks for this. Just been to Comet (Croydon, Purley Way), they had 1 marked at £44.99, and 2 at £29.99, took 1 to the till and it went through at £9.99. Heat and rep added.

Good Stuff, had spookily loaned it from Tesco DVD rental and lad loved it so when offer popped up....Even the Comet staff member seemed bemused by the price after he checked me off the 'reserved' product print out folder but then pulled out game with £44.95 on the sticker
