Bit of a strange one this but here we go;

On the shelf they are marked as 25p + 20% VAT. But apparently there is a 25% off on all cable's at Makro so they took off 12p from the two I bought for 25p a peice, making it 38p for two or 19p each, then they added the VAT. So 19 x 1.20 = 22.8p each.

They are just standard HDMI cable's, not gold plated.

No idea if it's national or not. Was in the Middlesbrough/ Stockon shop.

Just to point out it makes no difference to HDMI cables if they are gold coated or not. the signal is digital. this will do the same job as a £30 cable. thanks OP

Really? I wish someone had mentioned that earlier.

I know just thought I'd put it there anyway before someone ask's, I hate how companies take advantage with £20+ HDMI cables promising this and that.

So this cable doesn't support 1080p? Says right there on the box it's a 1080i cable, that's probably why it's cheaper.
EagleUK#10
its a HDMI lead, it supports whatever is sent down it :)

Good prices but note the 0.75m length - ok for adjacent devices, but no good for laptop to tv on wall with hdmi socket in awkwark position.
steppsman#12
Who care what length it is for this price, get some heat!

Do Makro round up or down?

It will support 1080p. Is unlikely to be HDMI 1.4 compliant so won't support 3d. The cables in Poundland do though.

It is HDMI 1.4, back of box says 'This HDMI Cable has been certified as STANDARD HDMI CABLE according to the HDMI 1.4 specification.

Depends what the total comes to mate, I can't say due to buying more things than just these and it adding up more than a hundred quid. They just give a number that add the VAT.

I saw this, when I was there, GREAT deal, I bought 10 how can you go wrong at this price?

good find
