12 Month Simo £20pm for Ultd Mins Ultd Texts and 20gb of Data is back along with;

25gb inc Spotify, NOWTV or Sky Sports Mobile for £25pm

Im not 100% sure but Im assuming it's 2gb of European data included with the 20gb tariff and 4GB with the 25GB.

Standard Price - £20pm or £25pm

Places such as the NHS, Government, as well as lots of businesses. All you need to do is supply a name and email address within 30 days of signing the Contract to Vodafone.co.uk/VEA you can also fill the form in instore.

When I got my sim only for 20gb they wouldn't honour the vea discount because the sim plan was already duscounted

The second time they offered the £20 one you could use VEA (It was actually £22 last time) and you can use it this time as well, it's not classed a discounted price plan.

They never accepted the vea because it was already half price

Any news of what will happen when the roaming charges in Europe go in June? I.e. Will we get the full allowance or just a small amount of it to use abroad? I still think their lack of counties compared to three is disappointing though.

I can get the employee discount. Would they honour it for two lines ?

I do not see this on the website . please kindly post source of information. There is no such thing as 25 GB yet on thier website neither do you mention if this is a retention deal or not. Dude are you a staff ?

It annoys me V give government employees discount - they are not on minimum wage, and public service employees should not be subsided by other taxpayers on Vodafone etc

I thought VEA scheme was 20% off on tariffs over £20 or 10% Off if under £20?

Will probably be a similar price with mobiles.co.uk soon after Vodafone release the offer.
I got one from them back in August when Vodafone had a similar deal on. Works out at £10.50 a month with cashback

I thought VEA scheme was 20% off on tariffs over £20 or 10% Off if under £20?

It changed a few months ago to 30% off a sim only and 15% off a phone plan, you get charged £10 to 'join' the scheme as well, I should have mentioned that

Theoretically you can get the same retention deals instore as well now. I have never heard of online and phone offering different percentages, it is pre-calculated according to how long you have been a customer etc as far as I'm aware.

Got this deal in November.. 25gb for £25. £17.50 after VEA. Please note you could get charged £10 admin fee for VEA but u can negotiate that off if you chat to them nicely :)

There is no online list I'm afraid, it's up to your company to tell you the benefits they provide, or you can go instore and ask an advisor if your company is on there. I imagine they can tell you on the online chat as well.

I filled in a form online and got a code. Now I'm not sure if that means my work email worked and I'm eligible for the discount. Or does everybody get given a discount code to try their luck?

The discount is given to employees of large companies or institutions that use Vodafone as their service provider or as part of a company incentive scheme where companies offer discounts to each others employees to incentivise them to use their service. Nobody is subsidising anyone else.

I'm not sure what form you have filled in but if it's the VEA form itself, the process is;

Find out if your company is on the list
Get the contract either online, instore, over the phone
Once the it has connected (if you are porting you number you need to wait until your number has ported over) you fill in the form online, or go instore and it gets checked and the discount gets applied and backdated to the beginning of the contract.

Customers subsidise new custom & discounts, that's the commercial world, Vodafone do the same, I disagree though that government employees should - by law they be excluded.

incentivise^

Every business has to try and make a profit, so if one customer pays less then another has to pay more otherwise the company will be out of business - more complex than that of course, but that's how supermarkets can offer what are known as loss leaders.
You are quite correct that they can discount whoever they like, sadly it's us the normal punters who don't bother with much 'ethical shopping' i.e. if we didn't like this selective discount stuff then we ought to boycott Vodafone..... but that won't happen.
The nearest thing recently was the lego and Daily Mail carry on - and of course all these protestors here in the UK complaining about the president of the usa actually doing what he said he would before the election (don't remember Mr Anthony Liar promising to invade half the world before our elections a few years ago).
Can you imagine if we all practised some form of shopping based on our beliefs for example not buying goods made in China, Korea etc if we disagree with domestic pets being horrifically killed for food.......... would we be happy to lose all our pound shops as a result ?

Considering brexit I imagine it will just stay the same as we will no longer be part of the EU. Also 3 do not offer 4g in any of there feel at home countries. The majority of Vodafone's Included roaming is 4g

Do Vodafone let you use the phone in most of Europe as part of your plan.... Also the mentioned 4Gb is that per trip ?

its in the three small print. although you can use your data, you're heavily throttled wherever you go. it's not even full 3g tbh.
