Would have been an excellent deal if it included unlimited internet!

As it is, it's an OK deal - but nothing special.

this is a 12month contract, you get £120 from quidco = £15 a month, better than O2, Vodafone are getting thier act together, my O2 contract is ending next month thank god, because O2 are crap, i'm going for this thanks:-D:thumbsup:

beware of vodafone. All quidco deals must be completed solely online to get the cashback. If vodafone call you back saying they had a problem with your order and will do it again over the phone, you will not be entitled to the quidco cashback.

Yes. I and other people have received numerous calls from Vodafone sales staff after ordering voda contracts online via Quidco,. and you stand to lose any Quidco payment that you would have gotten, if Quidco was reliable and tracked. Any orders completed offline do not qualify for quidco at all, even if started online, so beware.

If staff persist, and you want to ensure that you get a deal, ensure that you get at least the financial equivalent of the quidco cashback, in a similar time-frame, and get the sales staff to put the offer in writing, as customer service likely can find no record of such convesations - it happened to a deal I made last year!!
#13
Well we got a calback regarding date of birth, I accidentally put mine in instead of the wifes. The Quidco was not tracking at this point, they confirmed DOB and Quidco was tracking within 30 mins.

Something you could try if your having problems is this ... Confirm it all, cancel it before it kicks in and then re-order.

"Ho! Ho! Ho! Peggy Bedford! Enter this promotional code (FREEBLK) at checkout when choosing this deal and receive a free phone! It's a bit of a CRAP one, but it's free and you did only say you wanted a free one!!
#15
SSSHHHH! Don't tell anyone. You get a Vodafone 533.
#16
Im sure I would be able to get a much better deal than that.

Last year I upgraded, to a £40 a month contract and they applied a £15 discount each month to bring it down to £25.

I got the samsung omnia when it was first released worth £400, unlimited internet, email and texts. Stop the clock (i.e talk for 60 mins use 3 mins of your minutes (of the orignal 600).

18 month contract...

Just call them up and keep telling them what you want!!! one of the sales rep are gona b daft enuff to let you have it. Anytime i called up regariding my delivery or account they were always like wow how did u get that.... deall

p.s have been with vodafone since i was 13 now 22 somaybe cause im loyall..

quidco are useless be aware they never track and it takes too long to sort out so I'll be giving it a miss but good deal though
#18
This deal is so hot! I don't need it, but if deals like this keep coming there will be no need for keeping a landline!

:? Sounds like there's something wrong your end - Quidco has only ever not tracked twice for me (for cheap items), I've received over £800 into my bank account otherwise.

What utter tosh! The almost 300 quid I've had back over 2 years disproves that as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps you're not following the advice to clear cookies before going via quidco?

I personally use a separate profile for firefox, and have only had one problem, which was sorted within a few days of raising a ticket.
#21
Wish this would be their contract when they bring out the iphone. Unlikely, but hope it happens.
#22
got both of these deals recently

samsung tocco ultra edition 300 mins unlimited internet and texts 18 month contract 20 pounds a month
htc magic 600 minutes unlimted internet and texts 17.50 a month
#23
Vodafone conveniently lost the conversation I had with them on agreeing a deal. Beware
#24
This is a very good deal. I got the O2 deal that went red hot a few months ago. Works out at £11.50ish a month for 800 minutes, 1600 texts and one free bolt on. This deal is better for very heavy users though.

I have been using quidco for more than 3 years and total amount received is closing to two grands (mostly due to mobile phones and insurances). I have only missed one cashback out of approximately 150 so as long as you follow the quidco instructions properly it's a very good thing.
#26
I voted hot on this because it works out at a good deal provided Vodafone don't try and deliberately get out of paying the Quidco by ringing you up on some stupid pretext. Shame the Vodafone signal is crap whre I live.

I can swap phones now. So I called Orange and after a few "no thanks thats rubbish" they have come down to offering me the New Sony Satio 12mp cameraphone for free, and unlimited internet, unlimited text, 600 anytime minutes and 15 free picture messages a month, this is for £15 a month, BU its a 24 month contract. Going to call voda and o2 and see if they can better it , or atleast bring contract down to 18 or 12 months.

This is a hot deal by the way, but becuase I need a new phone ( current one broken screen and time to get something with better cam-phone on ) I cant take it up, but its a HOT deal for sure. I also have had NO issues with quidco, and have recieved £980 back through the site in the 2 yrs I have used it.
#29
Can anyone confirm if this can be done...

Purchase this deal via quidco and obtain a new voda contract and sim card...then when my existing voda contract ends in January...can I move my longterm number that I do not want to loose to the newer deal? which will have been running for nearly 2 months by then.

Thanks in advance

i got £90 cashback from vodafone for a contract i never took out:thumbsup:

Mine was completed totally online but still not tracked on Quidco yet (4 weeks ago). I will be pretty ****** off if this doesn't track.:x

Still waiting for my Quidco to track 3-4 weeks after last Voda deal. 900 mins, unlimited txt and Internet £15.
I can see the purchase entry if you go through enquiry, but can't raise on yet (Not until 5th Feb 2010 :( ).
And yes, I'm a Quidco regular with £1.9k paid over last 3 years.

Simply put, No! To port a number you have to do it at the time of ordering.
My wife got the £15 a month sim in October and Quidco paid out £70 within 4 weeks.
Also remember the Quidco won't track if you upgrade from an existing Vodafone contract, the only way to get the Quidco for existing customers is get you pac code and order this sim card and enter your pac code to port in your number. Even then I'm not sure it will work!
Vodafone customer services are very reluctant to match deals which include Quidco. I have been trying for a couple of weeks with little success, I may have been a Vodafone customer for over 10 years but I don't spend enough apparently

Does anyone know if this deal takes the equivalent of four texts off your allowance for sending a picture message? Or know of any contracts that do?
#39
what's the usage policy on the Mobile Internet?
#40
how do you order it i cant see where

is it an 18m simm only or something deal?
