Just to double check, Asda mobile does work on Vodaphone right?
#4
Hi there ,

I'm unsure if it is locked or not but I'm sure someone will come along and know the answer soon :)

Yes , I believe asda sim cards DO work on Vodafone Mobiles

Hope this helps :D

I think these are difficult to unlock. Most companies will unlock phone after 3-4 months if they've been topped up by around £30 might be a better deal than paying over the odds down the market.

Proper phone deal. Well done. Not quite as good a deal as CPW J132, but still a proper deal.

This is a phone with credit to last me 2-3 months for less the cost of one months contract rental.

To be honest, with Vodafones' new roaming charges for Europe; this could be a perfect buy for people going on holiday in the near future.
#11
Quidco isn't a guarantee, so needs to be displayed as £19.75 (plus quidco).
#12
An Asda sim will go straight in it and work out of the box..:)

Vodafones new no roaming charges mean this phone is ideal to take on holiday abroad and not get stung by charges..and you got the £10 credit to use for phoning home..

Good deal I say..

No, its dual band (GSM 900 / 1800), but that doesnt matter as Europe uses those 2 frequencies anyway.

I thought that Vodafone unlocked for free.
They did so with mine after I read this post here From this sitehttp://www.hotukdeals.com/item/174539/vodafone-now-unlocking-phones-for-f/showthread.php?t=174539
The thread says expired, but a late post says that it isn't :-)

For Europe, it doesn't need to be triband. As someone else said, this is the perfect phone for going on holiday to Europe. If you don't have Voda already, it is essentially a super-cheap phone card but with your own mobile!

SWMBO has had one of these since last December, other than poor battery life ( maybe 2 -3 days usage, possibly just her phone) then its a good phone for people who just use phones for talking and text. As already pointed out ideal for use pretty much anywhere in Europe.
#22
i got this phone free with a £20 sim only 30 day contract at the begining of june, to use on two trips abroad,

have to say the call quality is real poor !

Mine just arrived, great deal I have to say. It's not a brilliant phone but it is extremely light and it seems usable. Mine was opened (apparently they've registered it for me) and it had £11.05 credit,
