This is the first time I have done this so I hope I am doing it right.

I have been looking for a cheap contract for my son and I was told that as I already have a contract worth £25 per month + I can get get 300 minutes and unlimited texts for £10 per month with either a Sony Ericsson W595 C510 or LG Viewty Lite or Nokia 5230 or 6303. It is a 24 month contract but I thought it was still a really good deal. I dont think it's online but they said it was a new deal so might be soon ?

Also I don't know how to add a picture - Sorry I can't figure it out :-(

Seems like a great deal for Vodafone customers. Nice one. Heat added.

thats a good deal, im a new vodafone customer and im on free W595, 100mins, 500texts for £10/m, althought i got £90 quidco and £50 voucherfor lastminute.com, i sold for £35 on ebay

currently i think on the site, for £15/m you get W595/c510/viewty and unlimited txts with 300mins, soreally all they done is knock £5/m as you called in, if you factor in the cashback+voucher i got buying off the site and making sure u get the cashback and entering the voucher code will end up cheaper than calling for the £5 discount, although i guess directly £10/m is easier

Yay !! Done it - Thanks.

I think there's pennies in it when you factor in ebay/paypal fees, postage and the hassle. Given I'm on vodafone already the OP's deal sounds good to me. I'm tempted as I will be able to upgrade next month but may hold out for the new iphone!

Got 3 to give me GW520 300 min or text for £5 per month on 18 month contract. Flogging the phone on Ebay and get the contract for £1 per month roughly 8-)

Do you have anything positive to say on any deal? :?

I've just been reading a few of your older posts - what a load of drivel :whistling:

If you can post a better deal ... I for one would like to see it, if not, then just pipe down.

If someone else can benefit from a deal like this (even if it's only a handful of people) then it's hot and worth posting.

You wouldn't be moaning then if you were one of the lucky ones ...

What an idiotic statement. If thats the case then "instore" deals cant be posted either.

Throw in my tuppenceworth - if you are not looking for a phone , I got 600 minutes and unlimited texts on sim only with vodafone for £10 a month on a 12 month contract. Great for my son.
#18
I work for Vodafone in account management. These deals differ from customer to customer. Some existing customers can get a second line which will have a much better offer, but not everyone is eligible. What price plan you have very much depends on how much the person you talk to on the phone likes you.

If you get arsey or mention cancelling you will get naff all as so much is at our discretion.

That is a good priced contract, most of networks try to tie for 24 months now.

 anyone who is on vodafone and has a contract of £25 per month or more can get this as a 2nd line its called vodafone household( you can have 600mins unl texts for £10 sim only deal on a 12month contract or any other 24month deal with £5 a month off)

so its not like someone posting an upgrade deal that only they can get so no need for the cold imo.

heat added btw

With free Nokia 6303.

This is a very good deal though if your looking for a cheap contract

be careful taking this offer, always double check you bill.

i took this offer out about 6 months ago and they've always charged me double. the offer is brilliant for £10 but its actually a £20 tarrif with a credit taken off on every bill. well.... they ****ed up the credit on my account which ment i had to phone every month to remind them.

I was about to say something similar. I got a far better deal on my second line, but that's because I'm a higher-spending customer in the first place.

It was a nice deal you got sarah2009, but it's not really a HUKD kind of offer. The whole thing is very customer specific, some will get better deals, others will get worse.

I Know im digressing from this post but i got my fingers burned in January via a 24th month orange contract via Beepy Mobiles i was quoted 20 pound a month and when bills came in the bills were 24 pound plus cos they deliberatly added on the VAT when i was told on the phone that all i would pay was 20 quid and no more also dont be fooled by this UNLIMITED TEXT lark ive been charged for sending MMS messages just be aware

if you can be bothered to claim cashback then you can get way better deals than this.

when this recession settles down, the deals which work out free (via cashback) should be back =) until then still got to pay that tenner =(
#28
just go into vodafone and ask for vodafone household (if your an existing customer) :)

should be £5 off almost all contracts except iphone with phones or 12 month sim only as an additional line but your first line must be over £25

o and its not credit back, its a genuiene offer/line rental price

Yes I did the same, and it took a while for them to charge the correct account. First experience with Vodafone, and not a good one. Basically the first guy seemed to agree to anything verbally, and then you have to wait a while for written confirmation to come through the post (no email), after the cooling off period. Then you realise that you haven't been charged the right amount, and they argue "oh it was this price plus VAT". Got there in the end after a number of calls, but was it worth it? In my experience I've had a better time with Virgin & O2.

this is not a cashback or discount offer the price plan really is £10 per month(or which ever price plan you opt for) so you cant go wrong really, the only thing to note is, if your price plan drops below the £25 a month mark the terms say this offer will stop and the line rental will go up by £5 per month.

My sister had a blackberry for £35 a month, when she went back in and said she didn't like it, they told her she can have that blackberry for £10 a month and have a iphone for £35 a month, totaling £45 for 2 contract phones, cracking deal, as she sold the blackberry for £300!x
