A viable alternative to the San Francisco?

Whille not as good (imo) as the SF, for 70 notes its not a bad deal for a cheap Android phone..(especially if your having trouble tracking down an OLED SF!!)

screens not great at 2.8" and resistive, but for android that's being too fussy for £70

heat added, probably the best phone in this price bracket?

I bought this mobile from Tesco for hubby for Christmas (got it for £59.99 using Tesco's "save £20 if you spend over £40 in store"). I thought it looked really nice, but he just could not get to grips with it - texting etc is fiddly unless you have toothpick fingers, so I had to take it back.... If you are a bit of a technophobe (like my husband), I would't recommend it...... hope this helps the undecided.....!

The San Francisco is much much better for not much more money.

4 times the ram (512mb)
Bigger capacitive screen
Can put newer faster version of Android (Froyo) on it
Huge developing/modding community

Got one of these for my 11 yo daughter and she loves it. For a small cheap Android phone it's spot on. Smaller fingers work best though.
