Apologies for posting but thought it might deserve a seperate listing as looks decent value - had posted as part of a larger thread but might be worth a post on its own right.

Looks decent value - not best spec but for sub £45 seems good.

£45 including topup does sound good to me, the one thing that put's me off is the low resolution. I can see more of these deals cropping up as a result of the demand for the SF. There must be some pretty high stock levels of other phones kicking about!

I appreciate it has a Resistive Touch Screen but don't think you can expect more for under £45 - you posted this phone priced £67.99 a couple of weeks ago and said the deal was good for that price , so surely it is an even better deal for £23 less.

Thanks for the vote. Strange it got to about 300 degrees a couple of weeks ago when it was £67.99 and this is cheapest I can find anywhere by a considerable amount yet it is approaching -70. Kind of wishing I never bought it now but actual phone cost was only £34.97 and can always use or sell the e-voucher that comes with it or keep as a back up phone.

Of course it is a good price, and as I mentioned on my thread I would probably spend more and get Blade. But with this price the gap between Blade and this is huge.

Do they not come on the sim as i thought most of the time they make you sign up to a site to gain the credit ? (only going by the £10 i had to buy with my OSF in decemeber which i have just picked up from repair after the speaker broke (Argos I brought the phone from) :)) I was looking at this phone before i brought the OSF when it was £70-£75 The 845 was that price. Heat Added ! I might buy it if you can 100% confim it will be redeemable on other sim cards ?

simregister.co.uk is where i had to sign up to gain the £10 i put on. Hate orange myself on Vodafone (_;)
Thanks

Would hate to say for 100% certainty but the only other phone I bought from Tesco Direct was the Sony Experia X8 on O2 which came with a seperate O2 e-voucher for £10 (which I actually sold to another member on this forum and they topped their PAYG O2 phone up no problem). Also, in the advert for the Vodafone 845 on the Tesco Website it states " This mobile phone comes on the Vodafone network and includes an e-voucher for £10 of airtime."

Its Free Delivery on all PAYG handsets - initially it shows as £5 but when you finalise check out it deducts the £5 back off (no need to enter a code for Free Delivery - just the one mentioned here to get a £10 discount).

PS - Just being playing with the phone and not bad at all for £44 including the £10 voucher (which I am selling on). Actually comes with Wi-FI as well which I wasn't expecting and just watched a few TV episodes I had on a Micro Card and picture quality and sound surprisingly good. Also, mine came unlocked - haven't even put the Vodafone Sim in as yet. Not expecting it to work I put an Orange Sim in and all worked and let me make calls, send texts etc and then tried a T-Mobile sim and worked perfectly as well.

I can confirm it is unlocked. Worked on O2, Orange and ASDA Sim cards. Great little phone for the price.

Was quite surprised myself with the spec for the price. Out of interest I bunged it on ebay the day after getting it (minus the top up voucher) and it sold for £69.95 within 12 hours. Dont know why the deal is so cold but you cant win them all.

This is back in stock as
Save £15 on Vodafone 845 when bought with £10 Top-up
but now £64.97 (reduced from £79.97) as opposed to £54.97 (reduced from £69.97) which it was previously.
