Spotify premium is £10 a month stand alone.

Be careful to check your bill as sometimes they fail to honor the deal and you have to fight to get what was previously agreed. (keep web-chat transcripts). had this happen to me in Dec/Jan still not totally sorted.

Correction just checked its with 12gb and l chose Spotify premium.

Also got this deal, but they have completely messed the whole thing up.
Wrong Package, Wrong Discount, Wrong Contract end Date.
Still trying to sort it out 2 weeks on.
Ive spoken to 10 people on the phone (4hours!), 1 instore, have email proof of what was agreed, and they still get it wrong!!!

In my opinion, the deal is Hot, but dealing with Vodafone is like an Arctic Blast!!!
So wont vote, but good luck to anyone who gets this.

Yes but
- That is a new contract (you could transfer your Voda nr to a non-Voda Sim and then back to your new e2save Voda contract)
- The good Voda cashback deals have dried up it seems :-(
(Am on 20Gb, Spotify, 8Gb in EU, unlimited calls and texts for £12 after cashback)

Gosh.. Vodafone customer services s%$k^.. EXACTLY same issue with me. It's very difficult to deal with them as they hardly understand what you say. It's sorted for me after number of calls. I am happy that my contract will be over next month... and definitely 'get lost to' vodafone after 5 years ...even if they throw something for free..:{

Yes but

​Well it's even easier then that on Voda.
Give 30 day notice to downgrade to PayGo at the end of your contract.
Take out new contract and submit request to transfer your PayGo number to your new monthly contract.

But yes, those Voda deals have dried up.

I can't find it either. Wonder if they were referring to a contract taken out last year.

They said I had chatted with the out of hours service on Thursday and the normal hours retention team have better offers.

Great deal, not sure why this is voted cold, especially as you get Spotify/SkySports/NowTV for 12 months too!

This is what I was offered in live chat by the cancellations team (upgrade team were useless):

Unlimited mins and text
8GB of data
2GB international roaming
Free for 12 months either Spotify, Now TV or Sky sports Mobile
£16.20 a month with 2 month free
So works out £13.50 a month

As context, I've been a Vodafone customer for about 5 years, and coming up to the end of my sim-only 12 month Red contract.

I contacted them again today and got offered:
unlimited minutes and texts with 8gb data + another 2gb data free (but only 500mb data roaming) with 12 months Spotify for £16.20 per month.
They said I had chatted with the out of hours service on Thursday and the normal hours retention team have better offers.

I got this deal - if you have the vodafone app, does it show 10gb as your available data? as mine is only showing as 8gb, even though they said I will get another 2gb on top a month for free!

Finally got mine sorted, but got a slightly different plan, because of the hassle caused.
£32 plan per month unlimited mins/texts 12GB Data, Unlimited mins/texts 4GB Roaming, entertainment pack (Spotify), with a 50% discount for 12months on a 12month plan, so works out at £16 per month.
Plus 2 months free

forgot to mention.
The Vodafone App takes ages to update, so things items showed up instantly, other items took 5+ days.
It is more accurate logging into your account online, but this can also take a couple of days to show correctly.

They offered 8GB + an extra 4GB + 2 months free, discount to be applied for 12months.
They applied 8GB +2GB extra, no 2 months free, and a discount for 6 months.

It was all agreed via Web chat, which I had emailed to myself after the call, to prove what was agreed,
When speaking with Vodafone, they could not see my web chat, and would not accpet me emailing them the transcript, (which they sent to me!!!) Joke!!
Had to go to store to show proof.
Then 4 more phone calls, and finally got it sorted.

If you have upgraded within 30days, and have issues, phone them up and ask to cancel/return the new contract.
They will put you though to a department who can generally sort out any issues.

I only upgraded on Sunday, so got some time to cancel still. Thanks for your advice!

I clicked through the link they sent by text and the first page said I had no active subscriptions, I then chose Spotify and confirmed the order but on the final screen it said I already have a Spotify subscription which needs to be cancelled first.

I have tried customer services and they said they had sorted it but it still will not let me order it.

I had the same thing as I was already a Spotify Premium customer. Assuming you must be as well, hence why its saying you already have a subscription. You have to first login to your Spotify account and cancel your premium membership. It will then give you a date of when your premium membership will end (usually the date you pay). After this date you will become a 'free' user, that is when you use the link Vodafone sent you and sign up as a premium customer again.

I am already receiving free Spotify from Vodafone, I logged into my Spotify account and it said I have to contact Vodafone to cancel.

I have just been on to customer services again, they say they have amended my account but I just keep getting sent the entertainment text but it wont let me order.

Not sure if it helps, but I was also with Spotify via Vodafone.
I received a text from Vodafone after my contract was renewed saying my Spotify had been cancelled, I then received another to say that i can choose an entertainment pack. (Spotify)
The first text was only received after Vodafone tried to sort out my renewal on the 2nd the attempt. After the first attempt, my spotify was still active.
Looks like they have no clue!

If you are within the first 30days of a new contract, ring them, and go through to cancellations, they should be able to sort it. Just make sure you explain everything clearly.
