These are the vodafone dongles that for £15 give 1gb of credit which doesn't expire as long as you keep it active

They are becoming increasingly hard to find as they have been discontinued since about 18 months ago

Over 800 of these available from prepaymania on ebay at time of posting

I would imagine these would have been sold out in no time if they had described it clearer in title of their auction

Link is not working, item number is 330460351066

They sell for about £40 upwards on ebay

It been £19.99 for ages, the listing has been live since january, has been selling very slowly though as it was buried in ebay due to the poor title, selling plenty today though and no doubt the cold voters are trying to keep it that way so they can buy them up to sell on ebay, the site will be flooded with them next week though

I'm not bothered if they're buying them to make a profit, but it's not a good reason to vote cold (_;)

I am using FREE Wi-Fi to post this now

I haven't paid to use the internet for over a year.

Why do you think they are having trouble shifting so many

does anyone know if the sim card in this would work in a unlocked mi-fi?
I already have one of these but atm only use it on holidays.
I'm planning of buying a Asus Transformer & I don't think this would work on usb as the tablet is Android.
Thanks

Yes, this is what people do expect here. Constructive feedback. Personally I couldn’t care less, as 1GB away from home will last for a while and £15 is fair enough price for non expiring credit.

I think that if someone says that the deal is rubbish, maybe they should back this up with some strong arguments.

Sure, there is a free wifi, but in McDonalds, Starbucks, etc. and this deal gives you a lot more than that, especially that you can be sure that you are using secure connection, not something that is public.

I contacted them to ask about this, and the response I got was:

Hi
Yes the credit does run out after 30 days.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I asked the seller on ebay, Prepaymania, and that was their response

Oooh prepaymania said that? Wow! well if thats the case their item will definately be not as described as their listing clearly states it's non-expiring credit, they'll be getting a lot of bad feedback
#35
I think maybe the person who responded to the ebay question has made a mistake as even the dongle prepaymania where selling on their own site for £50 has now been reduced to £19.99,they are saying that it was £60 something so they obviously know the difference between the unexpiring ones and the 30 day ones

Dongle on PPM's site
#36
Well I emailed again, and said if it expires I don't want it, same guy replied:

Hi
The credit does expire after 30 days, Vodafone do not do
dongles that have no expiry date anymore.

I can cancel if you wish as
the order has not been dispatched yet.

Kind regards

I wonder if they just forgot to change that one line mentioning non expiring credit on the listing?
#37
This is quite easy to check. The K3565 modem (without R or Rev2 or refresh after the number) is £15 for 1gb but it doesn't expire unless you dont' use it for 180 days.

So if they ship K3565 with any of these letters I will open PayPal dispute as clearly item will be not as described
#38
just received this reply from them
Hi
Yes we do have 2 different version in stock. The version you will receive does not no expiry.
Apologies for the confusion.

Kind regards

They have revised the auction details...removed the no expiry details and the one on their own website they have now marked as sold out

Hmm,they obviously had them, just wondering if they have sent out 30 day expiry ones to buyers are they going to try to get out of exchanging them for no expiry ones by claiming they have sold out :|
#40
How will eBay policy work now since they changed the description? When I ordered mine it was with 30 days no expiring credit, now it doesn't says anything like that and auction has ended
