I think this is a fantastic deal and have just signed up.

Free USB Dongle
£50 cash back after 3 month (credited to account. No need to send in redemption vouchers etc)
Half price line rental at £7.50 per month with 3GB allowance.
12 month contract, not 18 or 24 which you typically see.

Over the course of 12 months you will pay £90 in line rental. Minus the £50 you receive via cash back the total cost is only £40 for the entire year! Works out much better than the existing £39 PAYG deal currently out there.

I called 191 from my voda mobile and spoke with the upgrades/saves department to get this deal. However, everyone should be able to dial 0808 0220055 which is the number I received via text from voda notifying me about this deal.

Btw, you also have the option of choosing between the white or black dongle. Although they're the same I chose black just because it's newer :)

sounds very good, hot.

To be honest I assumed it was open to everyone. They didn't say it was limited to existing customers but nor did I ask if it was open to all. I guess we'll find out by posts from non voda customers if they're interested :)
#3
I'm not going to vote unless someone can verify this
#4
just called and seems to not be available to new customers.

is 3gb allowance a lot? i'm currently on virgin 2mb and unlimited downloads, i do quite a lot of surfing, watch football over the net and download LEGAL music all the time. will 3gb be enough or not?

Thanks in advance for your replies

I called, definately only for exisiting customers and the £50 cashback is a recommend a friend thing. If you recommend a friend you get £50.

They do have a deal where you get 3GB and free USB modem, 24 month contract for £9.79 a month.

For Mobile Broadband I find that 3GB is more than sufficient. I still have my my contract from 3 and have never gone over after 10 months.

Unlucky for others if this really isn't available to new customers. I still think it's an awesome deal if you're with voda though which should apply to 25% of the people here? :)

when I click on the link, I get nowhere as it's got an ADMT tag that gets blocked by our firewall, but when I go to the site I can't find it. Methinks this might be an existing customer offer. Otherwise it would be red hot, but sadly, this time, I'm voting cold as it's not for everyone.

depends on how many matches you stream.
i normally have 3 going at 3pm on a saturday, plus other sports on a sunday night. it does rack up a bit.
download yourself a 'netmeter' from the internet as it will log all your in's and outs and will show you just what you use

Hi, were you upgrading or anything, no-one seems to be able to do this offer. Was the offer text to you? Great deal btw:thumbsup:

@ sarahabutair

Did you double check with the tele sales person? I'm definitely on a 12 month contract, £7.50 a month for 3GB allowance and get £50 cash back after 3 months WITHOUT referring anyone.

I got the impression that this was a standard January offer so I'm surprised if you were offered something different, (unless of course it's a sales guy trying to make a greater margin)
#13
They are saying only outbound sales can do 'an' offer, they are calling me back but doesnt look good
#14
Just called them and the person had to check with his supervisor for approval for this offer but he said yes and I signed up. The only difference was its a 24 month contract only. Voted hot -heat and rep added

@ ydraiggoch73, happy to have helped :) Are you a voda customer? If it's confirmed that it's existing customers only then I'll change the Title.

Just phoned up and said i'd seen an offer on the vodafone mobile broadband on the internet to which the bloke said the 7.50 one - i checked and he said it was for non-vodafone people aswell. Checked contract lengh and he said 18 months.

Aswell as the 7.50 a month you pay about 3 quid a month for insurance on the usb stick (which can be canceled within the first 14 days) and you have to pay a fiver postage.

Time to put the usb and pcmcia ones i got back on ebay... won't be needing them :).

Thanks to the OP :)... Much less arsing about then with the payandgo one that never actually really worked :).

Just call up and ask. I'd imagine that if you went through every singfle person that picks up the phone on the original number posted you'd get different answers from all of them.

I have just called them agian. The girl said yes £7.50 per month 18 month contract, but no £50 cashback u are not a Vodafone customer. I refused the offer and said me will think about it.

I will wait to see if anyone else manages to get it at £7.50 with the £50 cashback.

£50 is for refer a friend!

I got a contract about 6 months ago and the guy also gave me this £50 - he said it was a Refer a Friend deal, and it will be applied after 3 months.

So I need a friend to refer me? Do they get the £50 or do I get?
#25
Just to reiterate, for me it was £50 cashback with no mention of referring a friend....

I don't know how it works, I never had to do anything.

Can't confirm, but I have a feeling that this is for existing Voda customers only. I got a text 3 days ago from Vodafone saying:
Exclusive Jan Offer: Mobile Broadband for your laptop down from £15 to £7.50 per month, thats half price. Terms apply. Call 08080220055 Now. Offer ends Jan 31

I meant to call them to see if they'd improve the offer as I've been with them for a while now but haven't got round to it yet.
Sounds like an excellent deal anyway, and £50 cash back would make it even better.

With regards to the black and white USBs, if you visit their website you'll find that the black one is faster, and therefore deals on it are more expensive than white. Which means if you're getting it for £7.50, 12 months with £50 cashback, then it's an absolute bargain.

I'm going to call up later today and see what they have to offer, will report back however it goes.

@ OP yes I am a Vodafone mobile customer, dont know if that helped me get the offer.

To all....I got the £50 cashback. It is applied after 3 months. I never mentioned refer a friend nor did the sales rep.
