Let's be honest, both nokia and vodafone sat nav software stinks. But a nokia running symbian is just awful.

great spot

Vodafone are doing pretty well with the iPhone lately, best/competitive tariffs and free satnav. Just wish I wasn't 1/4 way through an iPhone contract with O2!

It's not free on all Nokia phones yet, they're rolling out free voice guided Sat Nav to older models, eg. The N95 was reportedly not covered by immediate free Sat Nav

Tomtom is the best for iPhone but its £60 so this is a good free alternative.

Great, you're a thief. Well done.

Apologies in advance if you were gifted it, work for TomTom or are going to come back with 'I actually paid £59.99, how dare you accuse me etc.'

Best tariff? 1GB data allowance and they charge you if you go over! Orange and O2 have unlimited data, plus Orange has 93% 3G coverage according to Ofcom.

It will be they just found a bug apparently so have delayed it.

I think pointing out its free on Nokia phones isn't really a help to iphone owners though!

Vodafone did me a great deal with my Sony Ericsson Satio...free sat nav for the full 18 month contract!!! 3 months in an expert there tells me "SE Satio cannot get sat nav"!!! :?

If you found £60 and picked it up off the floor would you classify yourself as a thief?

I found tomtom for free on the internet.

So there are no actual bargains on this site then, as everything listed can be stolen.

so by that logic you would have a problem if someone broke into your house and stole your property and you would want your property back; but if that theif left all your stuff outside on the street, then you wouldn't have a problem with any passers by helping themselves.

getting back to the point..... mentioning the Nokia software shows that there is a credible alternative to the iphone. I have a nokia 5800 as i won't pay £500+ for an iPhone, (more if you are on contract).
People may say that I'm "cheap" but I have a device For Free that has sat nav, 3G, GPS, WiFi, Camera, Expandable storage (which iPhone doesn't have!)

Apple is a triumph of style over substance... see the ipad for reference,
