I've just come to the end of last year's Vodafone £20 for 20gb (with £60 quidco cashback and netflix) - was about to cancel but then saw this - £207 total for 10gb 4g data including £75 cashback - works out at £11 a month.

I never really used more than 10gb, so this suits me!

The deal is for new customers, but the cancellation team matched it (actually I only got them to £11.50, but saved the hassle of cancelling & rejoining).

I know people don't like Vodafone but it's by far the best coverage in my area.

Looks good to me...

That's a good deal - shame I can never get retentions to do me a good deal. :(

The best I was offered was 4gb data, ultd mins and texts for about £11. :(

Coming up to the end of the same deal but think I'm gonna look for an EE deal if possible. Heat added though
#3
What are the chances of Quidco paying out on this?

I doubt this includes roaming, just saying.
Not bad tho, one of these 20gb sim only is expiring here so it's good to see what's on offer

I think the title is misleading and the details are incorrect. It is £ 23.00 deal with 6 months half price giving you first 6 months x £ 11.50 and the balance 6 months x £ 23.00.

There is a different offer of £ 22.00 deal with 6 months half price giving you first 6 months x £ 11.00 and the balance 6 months x £ 22.00 but that has only 4GB data but has 2GB roaming data with it

Don't think it's incorrect, but it's not clear - I'll edit.

So it's not 11 month?
#8
No. first 6 months x £ 11.50 and the balance 6 months x £ 23.00

Not that great then tbh

Sorry but where is the deal? £17.25/month is not a deal for me. I pay BT £12/month for unltd min and txt and 20 gb 4G data.

It is a deal if you get the Quidco (bringing it to £11 a month), or like me if you use this to get a matched deal when bargaining with the cancellation team.

How are you getting quidco on a retention deal?

I told them how much I'd be paying if I was a new customer, including cash back and they pretty much matched it (£11.50 a month).

I had the 20gb plan from last year, rang today for PAC, they made a silly offer which I rejected and took code.

An hour later an 01709 number rang and it was them looking to see what else they could do, I told them about virgin £15 / 20gb and three £13 / 8gb. He offered me £13.20 for 5gb as he said I was only using 4gb, I said no as three would give me 8gb, he went away and came back offering 10gb for £16.20 but would give me months one and two for free to get it back down to effectively £13 which I accepted as no risk of cash back not paying and voda let me keep Spotify and gave inclusive roaming so pretty happy and no need to mess around with PAC and credit vets

Keeping Spotify makes that a pretty great deal for you - although as a musician I'm against Spotify as it pays out so little to artists! I was on Netflix which is no longer an option. Can't see many other deals as good as this around at the moment... Maybe Quidco is putting people off, but I've never had any problems with big companies paying out.

My £20pm deal is also coming to an end (20gb data, unltd txt & mins), so I gave Vodafone notice yesterday.
They offered me 7gb data, 500mins, Unltd texts for £8.50pm.....which is pretty good, but I told them I would not sign a new contract straight away. I also said to consider the contract for my business up for tender, and to do their best over the next 30 days of my notice period to give me a better offer than other mobile providers!
