This links to a previous thread (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/459778/vodafone-sim-10-m-inc-600-x-net-any/) but with a number of advantages.
This is a 12 month contract and involves no time limited discount.
The tariff is their 'Low Price Reward Plan' and offers:-
600 Minutes (xnet)
Vodafone Passport
Unlmiited Vodafone to Vodafone
Unlimited Texts
Able to use a PAC code to port number from alternative network

Need to call 0808 0 408 408 - they may state that the deal is no longer available but if you say that a friend has been offered it or that you will just get it by going via a cashback site (quidco etc) they will refer it and quickly offer it. Have confirmed that it is still available today and this is confirmed.

Outside of inclusive mins and texts cost:-
15p to vodafone mobiles and fixed lines
35p to other networks
12p texts

Tempted to get this as a second line....don't forget Quidco also.

Just phoned them and it's valid, but the guy was really awkward about giving it to me, it's up to the operators discretion, he offered me another deal and I said if I can't have that deal I'll stick with Virgin and then he let me take it out haha

Good spot

Any quidco?

Any quidco?

No. This is only available over the phone ''Need to call 0808 0 408 408''.
Or you could buy on line and go through quidco (http://www.quidco.com/mobiles-utilities/mobile-phones-plans/vodafone/), but it will cost £15 a month (http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/price-plans/12-month-600-mins-unltd-texts-15?WT.mc) and you get £70 quidco. So in effect you will gain £10. But I don't think its worth the risk.
#14
IF and this is an IF dont have a go if you dont have it, if you have Quidco the same contract is £15 a month but you get £70 quidco back

15 x 12 = 180

180 - 70 = 110

110 / 12 = £9.17 a month

A little bit cheaper for a 12 month contract

Just gave them a call and sounds like theyve had lots of calls for this deal - but they insist its no longer on offer. The alternative was even better so i'm awaiting my PAC code and i'm signing up! Its a 24 month contract at £10 pm with 700 xnet mins and 250 txt or 600 xnet mins with U/L txt! both deals are good depending on what you use more. The catch is that its only £10 for the first 21 months then it goes up to £20 for the remaining 3 months - it still works out to £10 pm for the 24 month period. but you can downgrade to £15 tariff after 21 months if you wanted.

look at T-Mobile better offers on SOLO (Sim only) and only 30 days notice not FULL 12 or 18 mths contracts and also they can fixed the bills so you never run up any high bills...
#22
BEWARE OF VODAFONE STAFF. They get commission on what they sell and will always try to steer you towards whatever gives THEM the highest commission. I've fallen foul of them a couple of weeks ago when I contacted them to take out a 30 day SIM only package and spent 10 minutes telling the girl I didn't want the 12 month contract she was trying to sell me. When I subsequently got the confirmation letter I noticed that, in very small print, it stated "12 month contract". It then took another 15 minute call to get it corrected and I got the impression from the guy who dealt with it that it wasn't an isolated case.

It may not be relevant to this deal, but still worth bearing in mind

Interesting that you should say that about O2 as I have just got off the phone from them and they basically said - sex and travel, we've nothing to offer you. :whistling:[/SIZE]

my mate just called about 3 times, and then finally they were able give this deal, about 5 minutes ago.
He was a new customer.

was with o2, canceled today telling them of the deal, they asked questions on what deal i had but nothing offered

Just got the deal. Spoke to a chap called T.J. Moini who I think was from the sales team. Told him a friend of mine had got the deal this afternoon and that I wanted the same (currently on 600 mins + unlimited texts 30 day sim).

He seemed happy enough for me to have it but initially told me it was only an outgoing team (ie this team calls you but you cannot call them - presumably retentions dept) that were allowed to offer it to "cancelling" customers.

He said he'd get them to call me back but I advised him I'd left my phone at home upon which he went away and sought permission from his manager to overide the system and gave me it himself. Apparently a letter is on it's way with the details.

Happy Bunny Heat and Rep.

I just rang Voda - the guy I spoke to said, he just rec'd an email from another dept 20 mins ago saying 600 xnet for £9.78 is only available to existing customers.

Rang again but still no luck.
