you get £90 with quidco for this deal
Probably would have been a better post if all of the plans, including cashback options, had been posted, as past Voda deals have shown, otherwise it means a separate listing for each one
On the 12 month version, put in baganokia in the promotions code box for a free nokia 7230 as well!!

plz state how to match it, and just put in a claim!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for the hot deal.....now waiting for top..cash back!!!!!! £70.

Please be aware, that due to the nature of the Affiliate Network cashback reporting Mobile Broadband contracts will track at £40. These amounts will then be uplifted to the correct amount within 6 weeks.

Please Note - Sim-Only Purchases
Cashback will only be paid on SIM Only tariffs after the contract has been held for Three months. All sim only cashback will initially track at £15 and will be updated to the correct amount after the validation period.
Vodafone - Consumer cashback is available through Top CashBack on genuine, tracked transactions completed immediately and wholly online.
title updated..
Might want to update the title to say that's a monthly price too and not a one off.

Already with vodapony and not a fan. This is tempting though IF you can keep your number?!?
£1.11 per month effective cost? Please show workings!

That's equivalent to annual cost of £13.32 and I can't see how you arrive at that. What am I missing?

12 months contract @ £15 is 180. Deduct Quidco of 90 for a 12-month SIM-only contract to net at £90 (though you cite TCB at £70 which would net at £110).

Only one promo code is accepted and your estimate of the locked handset's value is £60 so that could bring the net cost down to £30 (if one manages to sell it for that figure) - but that's not £13.32 so where do you get that £1.11pm figure?

Ignoring cashback and reselling stuff (which is, I believe the norm for HUKD), the deal seems to actually be the 12-month SIM-only tariff plus a Nokia 7230 for £180.
the price is after cashback of £70 and a brand new nokia 7230. Deduct the combined amount of both of these. Hope u understood now.
Agree with JonBoy here .. how do you work out £1.11 a month ?

its 3.33/month...i calculated by the wrong amount of nokia mobile
The code 'baganokia' for a free phone doesnt work....
Also, using the free phone code may invalidate your quidco.
I did this offer 12 months on £15 per month using the freephone code, just checked quidco and only an amount of £16 has tracked?? not £90

Nope - and neither do you. Show workings! Your later figure of 3.33pm (appx£40 net) would require cashback of the 70 you mention and a sale of the phone at £70 whereas you've previously suggested a value of £60 for it (Voda sell it for 70 with a PAYG SIM so I wouldn't expect punters to pay the same to a third party such as you or I).

My understanding is that you should price the deal in the headline without allowing for potential revenue from cashback sites - but can mention the latter in the narrative. Achieving the headline price by selling some part of the goods/services you receive also seems suspect so you should check HUKD rules for that.
Anyone else had quidco track at only £16 instead of £90??
I ordered a £20 per month SIM via Quidco (which gives £100 cashback) and I also put 'baganokia' at checkout for the free Nokia 7230. Will I get the full £100 cashback?

I just checked my Quidco account and it says £16 tracked for Vodafone. Similar to you ADDYA. Should this increase to £100 upon validation?

Thank you.
I have just read this on the Quidco website for Vodafone:
"All 30 day/12 month SIM Only's will track in at £15 or £16 and be corrected upon validation."
So surely it should validate if I use the SIM and maintain the contract? I mean, the Nokia 7230 was just a free phone. Could that affect validation for cashback?
i ma still waiting for my quidco.
Hi haq. When did you place your order? And how much did your Quidco track at?
Anyone know if you can add web as an add on for this?
cant belle this aint hot! Jsut hoping cashback comes!
Vodafone has changed some things on their Quidco page. It now says:

"All 30 day/12 month SIM Only's will validate at £15 or £16 and be corrected after the 25th of the following month."

Regarding people who ordered a SIM via Quidco and used a free phone code, some are still waiting 6/7 months on and haven't received cashback yet. So on 25th September, if I don't get cashback, does that mean my order did not validate, or that it just hasn't validated yet? Hmmm. It could be a waiting game.
I just ordered this with the Nokia. And I asked would I still get Cashback, they said maybe, it might get declined. Did anyone else get declined? Or has it been validated? Also wants the refund policy?
Bring your Nokia home
find the IMEI: Press *#06# at your phone keyboard
Call vodafone customer services: 191, they gave the free unlocking code

They will send an email
the procedure and the unlocking code:-

1. With the Vodafone sim card inside the handset. 2. Key #pw+NUC+1# (The p w and + symbols are found by keying the * key twice for the + symbol, three times for 'p' and four times for 'w'). 3. The handset should then display "Sim restriction off"

If the procedure above fails to work please do not attempt to enter the procedure again. Please contact the Vodafone Helpline for further assistance.

I hope that you will find this information straightforward, however should you require any further information or assistance please contact the Helpline on 191 from your mobile.

nokia 7230......
OK just to add to this thread.

16th August 2010 - I ordered a £20 per month SIM-only deal - 900 mins / unlimited texts / 500MB internet per month - from Vodafone online. I did it through Quidco, and not only that, but I also put in the baganokia promotional code as well to get a free Nokia 7230.

16th August 2010 - Quidco tracked the transaction at £2 with expected cashback of £16.

24th August 2010 - Order arrived through post (SIM card + Nokia 7230).

20th September 2010 - Quidco tracked the original transaction again with expected cashback of £85.

14th October 2010 - Quidco paid in £16 to my bank account.

1st November 2010 - Quidco paid in £85 to my bank account.

So it took 10 weeks from the day I placed the order to get my SIM card, free Nokia 7230, and £101 cashback in total. Not bad I say!!! Especially after hearing how people had to wait a year for Vodafone to pay the cashback amount. And that's for people who didn't use a promo code at check out. I used one and I kept reading how if you use one, you are not guaranteed your cashback payment. Well, I guess I am a happy chap.
