No internet allowance with this, and Quidco not guaranteed.

It's a shame, I could probably have done it with a couple hundred less minutes with web included! Still smoking hot though! :)

I took this deal in June last year with a £60 cashback from Quidco, unfortunately as is the norm with Quidco on cashbacks over a couple of quid, it took three or four tickets and 6 months to get the cashback. As far as Vodafone are concerned, the service is total XXXX I can't get 3g and was advised by Vodafoney that coverage in my area is not very good, yeah I know that by having to hang out the bathroom window with one leg in the sink to make a call ; (

I went for the Tmobile 12 month contract SIm only deal of 600 mins 500 texts with the Internet booster. TCB tracked at £40 which works out at 11.67pm for twelve months. I don't need the texts but wanted the internet...

I don't think that's actually true. Some research just came out showing the average iPhone data usage per month was about 250MB, well within every operator's "unlimited" internet allowance, and maybe 10% were hitting anything above 500MB per month.

The trouble is, this SIM has ZERO internet allowance.

The absolute propensity of mobile development favours greater internet usage. The research you read was either A - out of date or B - sponsored by mobile carriers.

Looks like old research to me! I-Phone and massively, recently Android phones rely on cloud-based (fed-from-internet) solutions, and more increasingly so all the time. As we've seen the MO's try to limit the bandwidth when it's in their interests! :whistling:

Hang on, when that guy said "without unlimited internet" I assumed he referred more generally to "unlimited* internet" being effectively untrue and we weren't talking about this package specifically. For this package, sure, yep: No good at all :)

I would say that I have no problem with companies limiting bandwidth to preserve some basic level of service, but only as a short-term solution (months) while infrastructure is upgraded.

I spoke to the person in online help who gave me a promo code FREEBLK to get a free vodafone 533
makes the deal even better but I'm a little concerned that it may affect my quidco.
If anyone has had issues with anything similar please let me know

Got a spam email, but may be useful to those getting this sim as above with free VODAFONE 533 handset, but for different colours:
use code FREEBLK, FREEICE, FREEPTL, ONLYFORGIRLS = vodafone 533 colour ranges black, ice, petrol, light pink

as joeydawson said may affect quidco...
