Not as good as the O2 one but still worth some heat...

(Don't know if it's been posted before and remember, Quidco doesn't always track...)
#2
100 more minutes...but lacking bolt on.

and unlimited texts - o2 one is 1600 or something (which is as good as for me!) Not so good for those wanting a value iphone deal, but a very good offer nevertheless.

i have done the quidco twice now for me and my gf, one paid, the other tracked and validated.

not a problem with this at all, takes a couple of months, but not had to enquire about it at all like with some merchants.
#5
i prefer voda to o2 -- so hot from me
suspended#6
already been posted,

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/398819/sim-only-12-month-900-mins-unlimite

O2 one was better value due to the bolt on.
#7
Hot deal, almost as good as the recent O2 deal (lacks the bolt on)
#8
I got that number of minutes and texts, plus mobile internet for £10 a month. 12 months sim only.
I got that deal from retentions department. So its there for those who "ask" ;-)
And I dont have to mess about with quidco.

So ... cold from me.
#9
^ yes, but you could only get that deal as you were on an existing contract which was expired/expiring - not far to judge this deal against your deal as your deal wasnt/isnt open to everyone whilst this one is (if you have quidco)

You have a great deal but how can you vote this deal cold? Unbelievable. It's people like you that stain HUKD.

This deal is hot - you vote on how good the deal itself is - you don't vote it cold because you had to speak to retentions to get your deal. Not everyone can do that.

For people who are looking for a SIM only deal and see this not only get a great deal on the SIM, but they get £100 cashback too. Is that cold? No.
#11
its a good deal but the lack of bolt on makes it poor, the 02 internet bolt on is priceless , saves about 70p a day !
#12
the good thing about o2 is if you phone up to end your contract (or pretend to) they will knock 20% off your tariff
#13
Any change of them matching the O2 Intenet bolt on. i.e. Order the vodafone sim and then call them up and tell them that you noticed the O2 deal for the same price and see if they match it, if they don't cancel it.

Your analogy should therefore apply to all the regional deals posted to this site.

I, and many others can get a better deal, and that's not taking into account the O2 deal. Therefore, in my eyes the this deal is cold.

If I wanted someone like you to vote on my behalf in the way that your feel is "correct" then I'd give you my log in details.

I would suggest you stick to what you do best - posting sub zero deals

Yes, you can get better a deal, and others can get a better deal by faffing with retentions, that doesn't make this particular deal cold. This is good deal for people who can't get your deal, so surely you wouldn't vote either way?

It's like the many posts on the Xbox Wireless Adapter. Many people vote cold because they believe they shouldn't have to buy it, as M$ should have created the Xbox with it built in (which is understandable), like the PS3. However, you are voting on the deal itself, the price of that particular item (I've had a few rants in those posts) which recently have been very good.

See my point? And I believe its quite sad that you have to look at my posted deals (which agreed most of them have been rubbish) to stick in a witty comment. Congrats

How can you say it's poor compared to the o2 deal that's expired and no longer available.

O2 deal was 800mins, 1600texts + bolt on (web was one option) for £20 per month with £100 cashback but of course this deal has now expired.

Would have been nice if this included web but for those that want a few extra mins and unlimited texts and don't require web, this is a better deal.

I personally went for O2 deal because I wanted web :)

Just noticed this deal which is good for those that dont so many minutes..
Vodaphone SIM 600 Xnet mins Unlimited Texts £8.85 after cashback 12 months Contract

I went for the O2 with the web bolt on, cracking deal :)

Currently paying £15 a month, for 700 mins, Unlimited txt and internet on Vodafone after going through retentions.

May be of use to someone if they're already on Vodafone?

Even tracking is no guarantee of payment, too much reliance on Quidco which must be the worst organisation going.

Would vote hot if it was a different cashback company, all I can say is be carefull with this one.

Hi,

Does anyone know if porting my number with this deal can effect quidco not tracking the cash back?

Don't forget 600 mins + unlimited (3000) texts for £15pm with £70 Quidco is also available.

I need the link too please

Actually come to think of it this is NOT as good as the O2 deal.

BECAUSE the O2 deal has a FREE bolt on. SO you could choose an extra 200mins or unlimted texts or internet!

But still a good deal!

Never had any problems with quidco. You just need to clear cookies before you do ANY transaction.

I know that once your contract is started you cannot port your number. I think you will need to check that.

calm down calm down

i think the o2 deal was one of the best going, but has finished like everyone keeps saying.

that doe nt mean that this isnt a good deal. If you want to look for the cheapest sim-only deal on the market that this is at the top, unless u are current voda customer and about to leave , then you will get some discount !

it took me ages to get 600min unltd txt on retention at 9.79/month 12 mth contract -

Yeah right Quidco are that bad an organisation that I've had something in the region of £600 off them in 2 1/2 years with only one missing transaction from WH Smith's for 16p.

good deal

Good deal, not the one for me but still HOT.. anyone who votes this cold because they got a better one through retentions should just not vote rather than voting it cold in my opinion.

Quidco have been reliable for me as have Topcashback. Both as good as each other for me but I tend to use Topcashback more due to their no annual fee and cashback top ups.

Don't forget you can get Topcashback to price match its competitors although I've never tried this. Can someone comment on how reliable this is? Does it also apply to short term offers such as this Vodafone deal?

The only issues I've had has been the odd tracking issue, but the manual claims always come through. I've made a fair bit!
