That's for the 6, not the OP 7.

quite tempted to get this for my missus as she just wants a basic phone to repolace her old LG cookie, and she thinks most modern phones are too big. this review is good, in summary, it's £20 what can you epxect, it's not as gooas as the latest Samsung or iphone but it's £20.

another one here, which compares to the First 6

Most things have remained the same such as the 2mp rear camera, (more on that later), but the Smart 7 is powered by a quad core 1.3GHz processor compared to last year’s dual core 1.0GHz chipset. We still have 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal memory that is expandable to 64GB via microSD card but the new model comes running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box instead of KitKat.

Surprisingly the screen has shrunk from 4-inches to 3.5 offering a resolution of 320×480 with a 165ppi, and again the smartphone is powered by a 1,400 mAh removable battery that reveals the slots for the SIM and microSD cards.

SF6 has 4" 480x800 screen.
SF7 has 3.5" 320x480 screen.

Only reason to go for SF7 over SF6 is better processor, but neither is going to set the world on fire.

I've bought SF6's as kid's phones. Considered SF7 but lower spec screen put me off.

I'm assuming though that a more efficient processor, smaller screen and lower resolution means that the battery life will be considerably better on the 7 than on the 6 given that they have the same size battery. Horses for courses but as a backup phone better battery life might be a bonus.

It says in the description on Amazon that it has a 5" screen. I'm glad I read the reviews and saw the screen is only 3.5". Amazon product descriptions are getting worse!

missus' old phone died yesterday so ordered this, will let you know how it goes.

interestingly, the black one is £19.99 so no free p&p, but the white one is still £20, so free P&P on that :)

if you order from Vodaphone, the phone itself is same price, BUT you have to order top up as well, so you spend at least £30.

arrived today, used this link to unlock

£1.25 code came in about 30 mins

Thanks. Just ordered one. I also had to purchase a Kinder Bueno for 35p to avoid p&p though as the Smart 7 on Amazon is now £19.99.

The following might help if anyone else is thinking of doing the same or similar.

Will purchase unlock code when the phone arrives.

Thanks again

If u like better processor (so long lasting battery too) then SF7,
If u want half inch bigger screen then go for SF6.
