£48.99 I imagine or £60 with Voda direct. Unlock is free
"If you’ve bought a device locked to Vodafone from a third party, you can either join us as a new customer, or get the device unlocked to use on another network.

We can only unlock your device when we’re sure it belongs to you. The best way to confirm this is by getting a free Pay as you go SIM online or in store and using it for 30 days – a necessary step to guard against fraudsters. You’ll then be able to complete the form to request a network unlock code (NUC).

Note: if you were given the device by a friend or family member the best thing to do is get them to unlock it for you. It doesn’t matter if they’ve already upgraded or left Vodafone."

So, in round figures, £50 for this compared with £70 something for the Moto G play.

Everyone has a budget or minimum desire of specs - for some £50 is a max, mine was a iphone 6S, not everyone wants a expensive 4G phone. This is the cheapest deal for this handset, even Vodafone is selling this, their own handset for more than Argos.

This is what it is..a sub £40 phone with a £10 top up voucher (easily used on a existing Vodafone sim), another £30 for you may be worth it or affordable, for others its not. I bought a i6S but that does not stop me posting a good deal for others.

Another £30+ for a mobile is not far off double the price of this, the difference minus the top up is £31.01 from the Moto G - think about that :)

My brother in law bought one of these last month when he visited from NZ, almost as a throwaway item whilst he was here. I couldn't believe how good it was for the price.

Search for the thread. I bought one the other day. Sold out now though. £72 or £78. £70 something anyway. You have to stack codes to get that price but anyway as I said, sold out now.

You are taking about the moto g play which is far inferior to the moto g. I'd still take the play over this if I could find the extra money. If you only have £50 however, this is a hot deal.

Because it frequently comes in and out of stock.

Yes. I ordered like a week or so ago and the tracking currently shows the phone is "being built". Please. It's a budget android phone, not a Bentley.

I have just bought this phone for my son. it was 38.99 but you have to buy the £10 top up so makes it £49.99. Forget the fast track to try to get out of the top up purchase as you cannot sidetrack this anymore as I found out. But is a great phone for this money
