It doesn't work with carrier bags or at least it didn't last time I tried.
I ended up buying a small bar of chocolate to make up the price.

My friend bought this last week, for the money it certainly looked great value. Having a quick play around with it i did notice a bit of lag when putting some demand on it but what can you expect for a phone in this price bracket. Must admit though looked very nice.

My nephew purchased the Lenovo Moto G5 the other day and although £40 more expensive (from GiffGaff) this would probably be my choice of budget smartphone. Vodafone did have a nice large screen though if that's important to you.

Looks interesting; I can't help but wondering whether the extra would be worth it for the Moto G5 (or even the G4). Both got Nougat with a promise from Lenovo of O (Oreo?).

Is that locked to Vodafone? And is it easy to unlock?

I didn't think so. Got rid of mine after 3 months and bought a Wileyfox Swift 2. This SU7 is soooooooo slow.

Given that you would pay the same price for the same spec on a Chinese website, its a good deal.
#15
side tract a little, how do you find the 'cheap' items in Argos? how to search / filter?

i would stick to a G5 which is what i have.
i had two of the earlier Smart 6 phones and both screens stopped responding to touch within a short period, if the Smart 7s are anything like the Smart 6.... don't bother.

SU6 is a better phone. That had a Snapdragon at least.

I have a smart ultra 6 but as this is no way an upgrade I will not be partaking. Lenovo p2 for me, when I can convince the wife that is.

The Lenovo p2 would also be a good choice. Ok at around £200 it's more that the g5 or this Smart Ultra but with 32gb and 4gig ram, and an insane battery life, I've been impressed.

How bad is the sync issue though?

Where does it say its £99 via fast track, i can only see 'Handset must be purchased with £10 airtime. This will automatically be added to your transaction. Handset not available without airtime.'

I think I will stick with my SU6 than waste £100 on the SU7

Daughter's SU6 died with the screen edge glue issue, Vodafone 'upgraded' to SU7 (under the 2 year warranty though I had to remind them it was 2) which I sold (don't like MediaTek). Bought a xiaomi redmi note 3 se which is a great phone.

Just this week replaced my battery on smart Ultra 6 so I will stay with this :) interesting though as the 6 has been great value to me.

Got it from Amazon for £95 maybe £99 - battery really easy to replace although not intended to.

That's one of those scam sites that tries to get you to download its virus filled "ROM" files.

Only trust official sources, or if you are after alternative ROMs, try XDA. Ignore everything else you find on a google search for Android updates, its almost always a scam.

I can see nothing about the free £10 voucher however it is the fast track variant. (£99.99) Fast track isn't free btw so plus £3.95 del.

Yes, as chancooluk says, this is fake. It's a scam to get you to download malware at best and viruses at worst. Don't touch sites like this.
XDA Forums are the place to look for any ROMS and I don't think anyone has come up with anything for the SU7.

I got the slightly superior SU6 for £89 just before it went out of stock and was slated on this site for posting the deal as apparently there would be no updates??? A few weeks later the Android 6 update came out for it.

Loved my old SU6, developed the phantom touch problem 11 months after purchase and vodafone wouldn't repair under warranty. Preferred it to the nexus 5x that replaced it.

how about xiomi redmi note 4, just few quids more than Vodafone smart u7. note 4 comes wth 4100 and dual sim
only drawback is we need to get it from ebay UK seller for 190 pounds
