Do you have to take out a contract with this then?

Can you just unlock this without paying for 30 days? I already have a data-enabled SIM on another network.

    Edit: great minds, Dan...

Website says, WiFI enabled. What does it mean? Will it also act as a wifi receiver from any router to a non wifi laptop eg?

    most probably yes

It's collect instore only as they're going to set up your 1 month rolling contract by taking your bank details etc before you can 'take it away' . They are offering the e353 dongle for the same price & it's a much better dongle, but with both you will be forced to set up the contract before you can buy it

As far as I am aware they've always taken my name and address down for anything i've purchased from them so will probably make you set uo a contract when purchasing.

But can the E353 be unlocked as well, are people who buy going to unlock and use the likes of giff gaff?

this dongle is not a zte,it's a huawei k3770 so the unlocking guide given earlier in this thread is not for it,

the e353 can be unlocked, though not freely

Allowance lasts up to 30 days

It's £15 for the 1st month as well, the £5 is for the dongle, you will pay £19.99 instore, the price shouldn't be showing as £4.99 in the title as it's misleading

Do you not also need to give 30 days' notice to cancel? Would that not take it up to 35? ASAIK,if you cancel any contract with Voda within 7 days, you basically give back the equipment.

Certainly the worst company out there for coverage. Don't care what Vodafone's coverage map says when the dongle can't get a signal for hours on end.

    Voted cold

waste of time they wanted me to pay another £15 before giving it to me

Price should be changed to £19.99 as it's misleading
