Reasonably 'smart' looking basic phone whch supports voice calls, texts and precious little else, but think on the bright side, almost no opportunity to use up your hard earned credit, and minimal privacy risk.

For me the big benefit was a QWERTY keyboard which is surprisingly useable, and the battery lasts for days between charges

No idea - just saw on a shelf. (already own a V345, and paid full price for it at the time!)

I remember the days when phone batteries lasted more than 18 hours between charges.

    Ahh... those were the days.

For what it's worth, these support Vodafone 'contract SIMs' right out the box - used one as a spare when the work's phone was out of warranty and wasn't due to be replaced for another 11 months.

This phone is great. Got it for a fiver a while ago. Perfect little for for spare or holiday/summer festival/messy night out. Plus it bounce of the kerb quite well!

A hundred of these wont become an iPhone. Your comment reminds me of the "sounds just like Golf" advert.

7.50 at Pre Pay Mania but you have to buy £10 top up. I am looking for a cheap phone to take abroad but want to get an international SIM card so guess I need an unlocked one

Now I do want, but why DAB hasn't become integrated is interesting, should only be another chip but licensing is an ass.

Just had a look in Sainsburys Brentwood - no sign of that model and no other bargains in sight (picked up the Red home cinema from there a couple of weeks ago for £24.99, was the last one and as it had been posted before didn't post it. Nearly didn't buy it because of poor comments about sound quality - but for 25 quid it is fine in the bedroom)
