I have one and would definitely recommend this especially If your employer can do the bike to work scheme as its unrivalled for specifications

Hot from me, this is a great bike. it also won some great awards from "what mountain bike" you may be able to get it cheaper if your a member of british cycling = 10% off or if you have a friend who is and will use their discount.

Picked up the 2011-12 version of this a couple of years ago for a similar price - nice bike for the money.

They both have there good and bad points.
I prefer the brakes and on your link and it's a little lighter but would probably choose the Voodoo for the airfork.

It's a shame why companies feel the need to downgrade their models every year.

Unfortunately that's the effects of inflation - either price goes up or spec comes down.
