A unique and easy to throw aerodynamic design. Finger grip zones help Vortex spin fast for tighter spirals and greater accuracy. 3 separate whistles combine for one awesome effect

Great for the beach (if the weather is ever good enough!) heat added!

Nice find!

Paid £15 for mine a few years ago (the spin devil version). These can be thrown quite far - not much fun in a small garden but great when there is a lot of space especially in a field or on the beach.

I always see people play with these at the park on a summers day. Its a good price reduction.

Heat added :) xx

Quite handy is you have no phone or pigeons, but wish to communicate with your neighbour across a small valley.

The news agency Reuters would have been so very different if they'd had Howlers back in the 1800s.

Saw one of these on the beach last weekend; looked like great fun; ordered one, cheers

Cold because I bought it from Play in Oct 2007 for £3.99, and accounting for inflation this is not a bargain price.

Unless you can build me a time travel machine for £1, it gets a hot from me...

Thanks for tip - just ordered 2 for Christmas Stocking fillers - not seen them before! but sounds like good fun for after Christmas dinner (to play with - not to eat!!) :santa

I too ordered one last October from Play, it arrived last month!! We used it in the pool on holiday which is fine if there is nobody else around to get hit on the head by it. My 11 year old loves it.

I got one a few weeks ago for £5.99 from play, and the standard price on Amazon is £5.79, so you would be getting a bit of a bargain and for £5 they're great fun - but I don't think they've been sold at the RRP for a long long time so the £12.99 down to £5 is misleading.

Only problem I've found with these things is that the foam flights on the back have a tendancy to tear and break off

Seems like a great price, have ordered, thanks. Well spotted:thumbsup:
