The Vredestein's are excellent tyres in my opinion. I bought the Vredestein Fortezza Senso Xtreme Weather 700x23c folding tyres from Ribble Cycles about a year and a half ago. The All Weather ones they are currently selling start from £23.49 each. I got a funny feeling I might have paid something similar for the Xtremes. I can't actually find them on their website either which is annoying as I would have liked to purchased some more.

One of my brother also recommended the conti gatorskin hardshell tyres from Wiggle, maybe I'll get some of these instead if can't find any decent price on the Xtremes anywhere else. For the price I paid for the Xtremes they're definitely worth it, very tough durable tyres. You can even get away with not pumping them up for a few days too though I tend to do this at least every three. They're also very solid once pumped up, even at the minimum psi.

Anyway, nice price samjbeckett1. And you never no, maybe I'll end up purchasing a pair of these instead.

Heat added.

26tpi is very poor, even bog standard vittoria rubinos are double this and can be had for the same money

Yeah, I never noticed that before posting earlier. The all weather ones on Ribble are 120TPI and just checked the Xtremes on Wiggle which also appear the same, bloody expensive though.

Will wait and see if the Xtremes come down in price I think. Thanks for pointing that out Boris.

Hi BORIS397 genuinely interested in what TPI is and why higher is better? I'm a newcomer to cycling and I'm always keen to learn.

threads per inch mate. the more the better. more puncture resistance and will not crack as easy due to weight and potholes and will roll better. some top vittoria tyres are 320tpi.
my recommendation for the winter are Durano plus by Schwalbe.
