Very worth it, my little boys had this from about 6 months, he's now 17 months and still loves it, and I haven't had to change the batteries yet! i paid about £22 i think.

These are great, kids love them and will play with them from before they can walk right up until they are quite large toddlers. Voted hot - "rock and roll!"

Yep, we got this for our then 7 month old baby last month and she loves it... Has been very helpful in assisting her balance and walking when she gets frustrated with crawling.

Also the other functions on the toy means it's well worth the money. A great investment.

Looks good - but do read the customer reviews - especially the 3 star rated ones which mark this down:

It is HIDEOUS! It is so annoying! The woman's giggly voice, the horrible tunes, the ghastly games.

How strange, there are three people (above) who actually bought this item saying that this is a great toy for a kids, and 15 five star reviews on Amazon, and you managed to pull a quote from one three star review who’s actual title is "Argh, tasteless, annoying, but the baby quite likes it".
Maybe it’s worth reminding that is toy is actually for kids and not grown ups.

My little girl loves it (she 1) - So does my little lad (hes 4) - He thinks hes Lewis Hamilton, Just watch your ankles....

It is always worth getting a BALANCED view on any product, which is why I highlighted this review.
IMO some offered products are indeed complete tat (having bough some similar stuff from Argos) - so it is always worth reading both the good and bad reviews, as what is fine/great for one person may be poor for another.

And yes it is a toy for kids, but a parents sanity may be worth much more !

I know for a fact that the endless playing of repetative crunchy 8bit samples (I suspect) would drive me and the Mrs mad.

I think mine will end up with a stuffed dog on wheels...

our 1 year old has one and loves it, so do a couple of friends kids, worth every penny, I would choose a dog on wheels every time, so long as it was a talking, walking, singing, counting, dancing dog and not just a bag of sawdust this is the 21st century after all

I'll say no more than 'hello puppy calling do you want to play with me' .... aaaaaarrrrggggh it's driven me insane !

Seriously, it's a good price on a toy that kids love - so hot !
#11
for that price its worth a punt ! for the wee man if its a nightmare then amazon can have it back:whistling:

we picked up the old version of this off freecycle and our little one still loves it shes 15 months now, the american accent is a bit annoying but then all v-tech toys have that - it's still very good though.

This helped my best friends baby walk a few walks ago, now she can't get enough of it! she walks it everywhere she goes and loves the rolls and the phone!... maybe when she is older she will use the other buttons more but till then this toy very helpful in terms of helping the baby's (under 1) learn how to walk and pick up the phone haha

The American voice is better then an English one!

looks like a toy even I maybe tempted to play with!
