Vtech InnoTab in Blue £45.00 del @ Amazon
I realise that these are being reduced because the new version is out, but for those that don't want to pay £89.99 for what appears to be very little difference, I thought I'd post this, the pink is still £49.99 price matching Argos

must be quite recent.
used the £10 deal just last week
Perfect. relatively easy to covert DVD into correct format, also you can copy anything from Youtube really quickly, hence can easily load it up will all their TV favorites. My 2 and 5 year olds one each and spend a good hour a day on them. They come with 2 games on them and 3 free to download (normally £2.99 each) so good value. highly recommend them.

Or is it just me? Cos there was a deal recently on a tablet for about £50, Archos I think that can be upgraded to Honeycomb, an actual tablet OS, this way it could be fun for the kids by using the programs above and if need be, you can enjoy it too.
Not to mention there's much more variety on Android app wise and movie playing wise and way more than you can do on an Innotab. But nevertheless great deal OP. Heat :)
Putting movies on is quite simple, there are a lot of guides on google how to do it and convert them for the screen size etc.
I had a few Divx/Avi files and just put them straight on without using the innotab software and they played fine but due to them being in stereo they sounded a bit low through the one built in speaker. Problem was solved by using earphones and they play perfectly.
It's actually harder to put MP3 music on to the innotab, if you don't use the software to place them on then it won't recognise them.
happy days !

depends on the age
for young uns
I would think the impact minded design and child friendly OS is better.
If there was a kiddie OS skin for Android(is there?) then its a different matter
