  Why not spend a comparable amount on a normal 7" android tablet (loads of good deals via HUKD)? I'm sure that most if not all the activities and apps featured on this unit would be available as similar apps from the android market, and you would end up with something the whole family could use, or something your kid can use after he/she grows out of these junior apps.

  I have considered this, believe me. I just dont feel that a tablet could withstand a toddlers aggression! Innotab & Leappad etc are (obviously) aimed at young children therefore it is more durable. I wouldn't trust my 3 year old twins with a tablet... plus I have also seen the stuff they have found on youtube! lol

  I have one for both my 2, aged 4 and 2. They are very smart and great for kids. Adults need to look into how to get the most from them tho ie transfer music, dvd, youtube stuff etc. there are good tutorials on youtube....
