These things eat batteries. I was astonished that it didn't come with an adapter!

We picked up one of those multi-headed/multi voltage adaptors from the £1 shop and it works fine :)

Good find. Anyone know how educational these games are?

I have found the games to be really poorly designed. For example in one of the scooby doo games you have to find the missing letter to make a word. Now given that these games are designed for pre school children who are still at the stage of identifying letters on their own i think its a bit much to expect them to know the missing letter.

The games imo have been made too difficult to appeal to a bigger age range, but frankly most 7 -8 year olds are not going to want this. The graphics are very poor compared even to the original playstation.

For not much more money you can get a second hand playstation 2 with a much wider choice of games.

ps these have probably been reduced as a new version has come out with wireless controllers with games that are along the same idea as a wii.
