I would imagine the card would fit, whether the PSU is up to the task - not sure. The 5770 is a relatively frugal card though.

Here's a page for info:

notably this quote:
from web
I'm running the standard Vostro 430 with the addition of another Hard Drive (WD 1.5TB Caviar) and the 5770 with the 350W power supply and system is running fine. The 5770 card is so quiet, I can't even hear it above the CPU/Case Fan.

It will run ok and more than likely boot into windows, but do you really want to skimp on a PSU while running under heavy load ? Best case scenario your PC shuts down, there are a lot worse things that could happen.

Good price but it only 1 years warranty compared to the XFX model that has 2 years and is only £6 more plus comes with AVP game.

Still though its definitely worth some heat.

See your point. Personally, i'd not even heard of VTX before today, and the price is negligable between this and the XFX model.

Saying that, i'd still regard it as a hot deal as it's the cheapest i can find currently for any flavour of 5770. If i were buying (which i may well be) I think i'd choose this model and save the £5. AVP game i could take or leave.

I thought the XFX warranty for the UK was not worth the paper it was written on?

Going on a review from tomshardware, seems the reference 5770 card gets framerates of 28.7 when running at 1900x1200 res, with high details and 4x AntiAliasing.

The answer is no not without slowdown/stuttering.

But change the res. to 1650 x 1050 (arguably still HD resolution) and remove the AA, and you'll see framerates of 40.9. Generally, 30+ FPS is considered acceptable.

And this is Crysis we're talking about here, everyone knows NOTHING plays it maxed out! :-D
