Vueling £17.98 return flights from various UK airports (Birmingham, Manchester and Luton) to Barcelona in February and March

I was browsing through flights to Barcelona with Vueling and discovered this! There are flights from Birmingham to Barcelona for as little as £4.42 each way (you must pay a €10 admin fee as well)! The…

I don't suppose anyone has booked from Cardiff? In March? I cant seem to find any as cheap as this advertised. Great price, even without the code working. Was thinking of booking a short break for 2 adults 3 children but its never cheap flying :)

Anyone booked around Feb 26th - March 1st? The hotels are sooooo expensive! Any ideas for cheaper hotels? Or other places to stay? Any advice would be appreciated!
You could stay near the airport in an ibis/best western, they are around £55 per night and have a free shuttle bus that runs to and from the airport every 30ish minutes (The airport is also the train station). You can then get the train directly into Amsterdam Centraal station - which is the main station (15 mins train journey). A 3-day travel card is €25 which includes unlimited bus and trams rides in central Amsterdam and 1 return journey back to the airport every day (The normal cost of one way journey to or from airport is €5ish).
I've done the above once and it's not great if you like to go back to your room intermittantly during the day, but perfect if you spend the whole day out and about. The journey from hotel to centre isnt bad once you've done it the first time and know what to do.
Thanks for your reply but I've booked Barcelona not Amsterdam! Sorry for the confusion! Any tips for Barcelona? Thanks
Ah, must have confused myself reading the comments with others saying they'd booked Amsterdam. I haven't been to Barcelona but I always find staying just outside any city and traveling in is usually better value. Sites like rome2rio and google maps are good for finding where good location are that are 1 bus/train ride away from the centre.

Have fun in Barcelona!

Good prices, but this company should come with a strict warning. Vueling's customer service is absolutely terrible. Very common for them to take bookings, then cancel the flights and stall on paying the refund for months. If you're unsure, check out the comments left on their Facebook wall! Shocking really. I had issues early in the year and I'm currently in the process of legally recovering money. If you book, I'd say definitely use a credit, not debit, card.

HUKD membership set up only to post a "deal" from these scammers... 1.4/10 on Trustpilot, well done !

No affiliation here, just a long-time lurker... I just booked a trip to Paris, which only netted a £25 discount as most of the price was in airport taxes, bit disappointing really but better than nothing, and beat the nearest skyscanner price.

Could be really handy if anyone was booking a pricier flight over that period. I have flown them a few times and found them no worse than the other low cost airlines. In fact they didn't even try pet peeve of checking in cabin baggage at the gate!

Flew with them to Amsterdam and back for like 17 quid, didn't have any issues.
