No HDMI input I assume? (not sure why that matters if it's only a PC monitor...)

Nice price!

wow! whats the catch??

Good price, but as normal with cheap monitors no DVI!

The difference between analogue and digital will become even more obvious at high resolutions like this.

Unless you're using a particular cheap'n'nasty graphics card, there's no way you'll see a difference with VGA vs DVI. This was a common issue in the HDTV world, which run slightly higher resolutions (1920*1080), and there's no noticeable difference between component and HDMI.

Yes - or at least my wife thinks so ;-)
#13
By the looks of it this monitor sells for £189.99 in Argos so a real bargain.

Agreed - when I got the HP 20 incher that was flying around a couple of months ago, I invested in a DVI-DVI cable. A waste of time and money IMO as I couldn't see any difference between the DVI and VGA inputs.

just bought mine for £102 . if you buy a external tv tuner box . you can plug it into the monitor . hey presto a 20" widescreen tv.

Where can you get tv tuner boxes with vga output? How much do they cost?

Good price, but for people thinking to invest in these on ebay BAD IDEA. Profit can't be made on these check the prices they sell on ebay before buying to sell. But for personal use a bargin!!
WELL DONE

:D comes exactly two days b4 my birthday and i was goin on about a new monitor too
#23
Thanks to the OP... Great timing  My aging LCD packed up yesterday morning, so, after agonising between this and the £167 Samsung, I ordered the Vusys.

It arrived this morning and I'm delighted... no dead pixels and nice, clear display. I was a little concerned about the lack of reviews, but it's an absolute bargain. In fact, I've just ordered another :-D

I ordered one of these this morning, nice and cheap at £102 and a good size for gaming.

You are paying for the extra resolution rather than the larger size. 1680x1050 is very nice. :)
#26
Amazing price, just when I think the price of these monitors must have bottomed out they go even lower.
#27
Has anyone else received theres yet?, My one arrives on Tuesday.
#28
Very good deal, although I'm looking for something with a better response time.
#29
I had a Hanns-G 19" Widescreen with the same response time and played all the latest games on it and never once noticed any motion blur or ghosting.
#30
Anybody know what warranty there is on this thing.... Is it a three year or a one year. I nearly bought the HP one but shied away because it was only 1 year wheras most manufacturers give 3..
#31
In Ebuyer it doesnt state a 3 year warranty for the monitor although other monitors are stated. I tried clicking on the manufacturers link but it does not work so I'm not sure to be honest.

Couple of peeps have had problems with this monitor on these forums, including myself. Some seem to have a fault which does not allow their full native resolution of 1680x1050. I tried my monitor on 3 PCs without success. It may be some obscure OSD or driver problem, but I went and got a refund, especially when vusys have taken down their website, and so have the companys UK distributers. All the phone numbers for the company and tech support have also been pulled down. Yuck.

Quick question if I wanted to use the monitor as a screen for attaching to a dvd player what sort of cable would I need?

Hmm reading this gives me worries. I ordered this for a client last week and its due to arrive in the morning. I have a couple of options which id like some advice on if any1 knows. I can send this monitor back by not accepting the delivery (recommended by ebuyer) if i no longer want it - is it really that bad ? Its my clients first tft and at £102.10 surely it aint that bad ?? Second option is to get him the 20' Belinea thats £10 more on ebuyer... or my third option is to sell him my year old Belinea 102035W 20' (which was top spec and £300+ when i got it) and get the £170 22' Belinea for myself :)

Now im worried that the 22' Belinea is not as good as the 102035W coz my monitor is still selling for £250+ in some places. Should i risk selling my 20' that ive so far had no probs with whatsoever, has DVI (although its not used coz my 2way vga switcher is dsub) just for the extra 2 inches... or do stick with what ive got and let me client have the Vusys/Belinea 20' ??

What do you guys think in terms of quality ??
#35
I have had this monitor for 2 days now and the only way I can activate the maximum resolution is with the cd driver that came with my X1950 but as soon as you update it the maximum resolution is 1600 by 1200. This doesnt bother me as its a nice screen and have used it on a few games and it looks great.
#36
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?, When I install the drivers from the cd through device manager I can achieve the max resolution but when the latest catalyst drivers are installed the option is not available and just shows basic resolutions with the max being 1600 by 1200. I'm sure this is just a driver issue because I have seen the max res work with this monitor. Thanks.

Looks like they have ceased trading/gone out of business.
